And we’ve had a ton of coverage from the event. Right after the camp, we put a spotlight on the MVP choices for each position but in this post, we’re putting the spotlight on the wide receiver position. This was a really talented group but these three were some of the best prospects in attendance on Sunday. This breakdown does not feature WR MVP selection Xiyiah Spencer-Cole Xiyiah Spencer-Cole 6'2" | 150 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2024 State AR as we broke him down earlier this week in our MVP spotlight.
Shiloh Christian 2025 wide receiver Dalton Carnes Dalton Carnes 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR Shiloh Christian | 2025 State AR had a couple coaches speaking on his behalf to be the overall offensive MVP from the camp on Sunday. Carnes was right there near the top of the list and he certainly brought a different element to the wide receiver position. We wrote about Carnes earlier this week after he was one of the top five fastest campers in the shuttle drill. That speed and ability to change direction on a dime made him absolutely impossible to cover in a one on one situation. It didn’t matter if it was a defensive back, a linebacker or when the defense had four defenders against three wide receivers, Carnes always found a way to get separation and he was one of the very best on Sunday.
Central Arkansas Christian 2026 standout Jackson Hampton Jackson Hampton 6’4″ | 165 lbs | WR Central Arkansas Christian | 2026 State AR has been on our radar for a while now. He had solid season in 2023 and was a name to look out for in the playoffs. On Sunday, Hampton was right there at the top of the list in terms of big play receivers. First off, Hampton looked the part with a long frame and his ability to use his size as an advantage against just about every defensive back that was attending the camp on Sunday. Hampton was also so smooth with everything he did. It didn’t matter if it was the competition or just the individual drills, Hampton would move smoothly and it looked effortless. He’s definitely going to be a name to look out for this offseason and beyond in Arkansas.
Our final standout at the wide receiver position is 2026 Kyrick Fulks Kyrick Fulks 6’1″ | 185 lbs | WR Little Rock Parkview | 2026 AR out of Little Rock Parkview. Fulks came into the camp listed as an athlete on Prep Redzone Arkansas but the kid was an absolute star at the wide receiver position. Just like with Hampton, Fulks seemed like he was at home during the one on one competitions and it didn’t matter how well the defensive back was playing defense, Fulks found a way to make a play and come down with the ball. It happened time after time, rep after rep. Fulks would have a defender draped all over him and still come down with the catch. He was one of the more impressive wide receivers when it came down to catching the ball in traffic and under pressure.
