Meanwhile, recruiting news never slows down this time of year. We are going to highlight several prospects that made recruiting headlines over the past week.
Kellen Wrona Kellen Wrona 6'2" | 335 lbs | DL Bentonville | 2026 State AR -Defensive Line-Bentonville-2026
Kellen Wrona Kellen Wrona 6'2" | 335 lbs | DL Bentonville | 2026 State AR is a defensive lineman that can stuff the run and force the opposing offense to become one dimensional quickly. He is a strong run defender who can force opposing blockers into the offensive backfield. Wrona does not give up on a play and does an impressive job of pursuing the ball carrier. He has the ability to pressure the quarterback and disrupt the opposing passing game as well. Earlier in the week, Wrona earned a scholarship offer from Louisiana-Monroe. He has the potential for a big 2024 season and is a player to watch out for in the future.
Carter Henley Carter Henley 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Shiloh Christian | 2025 State AR -Linebacker-Shiloh Christian-2025
The Shiloh Christian linebacker is a defender that is always around the ball carrier. Carter Henley Carter Henley 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Shiloh Christian | 2025 State AR reads the play well and has the speed needed to get to the ball carrier. He gets away from blocks and gets into the offensive backfield with impressive quickness. Henley has a knack for making the big play on the defensive side of the ball. He can force turnovers at key moments or just completely shut down the opponent’s drive. Earlier in the week, Henley earned a scholarship offer from Harding University. I look for Henley to have a big season for Shiloh Christian this season.
Jordan Harris Jordan Harris 6'7" | WR Maumelle | 2026 State AR -Wide Receiver-Maumelle-2026
Jordan Harris Jordan Harris 6'7" | WR Maumelle | 2026 State AR is a prospect that is building recruiting momentum on the gridiron as well as on the hardwood. Harris has tremendous athleticism and uses his 6’7” frame well to high point the football. He has the ability to haul in tough receptions and make it look easy in the process. It was a busy week for Harris this week. He earned a 4-star rating on the hardwood and picked up a scholarship offer from Ole Miss in the process. Harris is a player to watch out for on the football field and the basketball court as well. He has the potential to do big things throughout the next two seasons.
Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Defensive Back-Little Rock Parkview-2025
Over the past few years, Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR has been a player on the field that the opposing quarterback must account for on the field. Robinson does a great job of patrolling the secondary for the Patriots. He uses his speed to get to and bring down the ball carrier. Robinson plays the ball well in the air and has no problem separating the ball from the ball carrier. He had a busy week from a recruiting perspective. Robinson earned scholarship offers from the Miami Hurricanes as well as the Alabama Crimson Tide. Robinson has the potential to have another great year in 2024.
Bennett Roberts Bennett Roberts 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Gentry | 2025 State AR -Linebacker-Gentry-2025
The Gentry linebacker is always around the ball carrier. Roberts causes problems for opposing blockers with the use of his speed. He gets away from blocks and pursues the ball carrier well. Roberts has the speed needed to drop back into coverage. I expect Roberts to have another impressive season this upcoming season. Roberts had a great visit to Central Florida this week and is a player to watch out for over the next couple of months.
