The Stock Up Showcase tour made their stop in Arkansas on Sunday just south of Little Rock. We got a chance to see some outstanding players from all over Arkansas and beyond. We’ll have a ton of coverage from the event, but in this post, we’re looking at the best of the best at each position. Some of these position groups were stacked and narrowing it down to one MVP was brutal. But these seven players were among the best in attendance on Sunday!
We kick off the MVP selections by taking a look at the offensive line. Quitman 2026 offensive lineman Jeremyah Green went to work on Sunday afternoon. The offensive linemen group on Sunday was one of the deeper in terms of talent. The coaches working with that group gave name after name for guys that were standing out during the drills. But when it came down to crowning one player as the MVP of the group, it was Green that got the nod. He was absolutely filthy throughout the camp and that’s always something that we look for when the big guys go into competition mode. You can only do so much without the pads on but Green brought the fight on just about every rep and showed a lot of versatility in his game.

The defensive line was the lightest position on Sunday but these dudes went to work. And Branson 2025 defensive lineman Skyler Slaton Skyler Slaton 6’3″ | 240 lbs | DL Branson | 2025 State MO impressed throughout the camp but specifically during the drills and the one on one competition. Slaton was a rare out of state camper that came down to Arkansas and dominated. Which apparently is nothing new for Slaton because he’s been on the radar in the Show Me State for a while now. Slaton took rep after rep and did incredibly well. Whether he was working on the inside or the outside, he found a way to get into the backfield and cause problems for the lineman he went against. Slaton now heads back up north with a ton of momentum after showing out on Sunday afternoon.

Farmington 2027 quarterback Slade Norwood Slade Norwood 5’11” | 155 lbs | QB Farmington | 2027 State AR is no stranger to Prep Redzone events and he’s been coming to these camps long before he entered high school. Norwood even competed against high schoolers while still in middle school. His experience, despite still being a freshman showed on Sunday. Norwood was ready to go to work and the thing that stood out the most in the various drills was Norwood’s hunger to compete. No matter what the drill was, Norwood wanted to get as many reps as possible. And that is something that not only stood out to the writers in attendance but it also stood out to the coaches on Sunday. Norwood got as many reps as he could get and he always found a way to make a throw on a dot, time after time.

When a college coach comes over and says that a kid is one of the best campers in attendance, you listen and start watching. Pulaski Academy 2026 standout Tari Ransom Jr Tari Ransom Jr 6’2″ | 185 lbs | DB Sylvan Hills | 2026 State AR . was a late addition to the camp on Sunday and he walked away as the overall defensive MVP of the camp. Ransom was acknowledged after the camp as one of the best prospects in attendance. Ransom was ready to go to work on Sunday and it showed. Not only did he perform really well as a cornerback and a safety on defense, he turned around and played wide receiver and made plays there. After watching for a few minutes, it was clear that the coach knew what he was talking about and Ransom earned his spot as one of the best guys in attendance.

Marked Tree 2026 running back TJ Hodges TJ Hodges 6’1″ | 190 lbs | RB Marked Tree | 2026 State AR was a new name for Prep Redzone Arkansas. He’s been flying under the radar but that won’t be the case moving forward. Hodges immediately grabbed our attention early on in the camp when he was putting up some great times in the testing portion of the camp. And Hodges kept that momentum going when the camp broke into position groups and he went to work. The sophomore standout was routinely one of the best running backs in all of the drills and when it came down to making a pick for MVP of the group, Hodges was the runaway selection from the coaches. And the running back position on Sunday was a really good group but Hodges took the crown this time around.

Linebacker was another position group that was tough to narrow it down to just one guy. There were several players that stood out but West Memphis 2025 backer Tyree Vaughn Tyree Vaughn 6’0″ | 225 lbs | LB West Memphis | 2025 AR was the most consistent from start to finish. Vaughn started off the day by grabbing our attention during the testing portion of the camp. Vaughn would then move on and perform really well in indy and then into the one on one competition. Like some of the other position groups, it’s sometimes hard to stand out at linebacker in a camp without the pads on. But Vaughn showed good covering skills and quick feet throughout the camp. And Vaughn is built physically so we can only imagine how he uses that size and quickness to lay the hammer with the pads on.

We’re just a few weeks away from Signing Day and there are still some really good 2024 prospects on the board. Fayetteville wide receiver Xiyiah Spencer-Cole Xiyiah Spencer-Cole 6’2″ | 150 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2024 State AR is one of them and he showed why on Sunday. Cole ended up joining Ransom as the two overall MVPs from Sunday’s camp. Cole was in an absolutely stacked wide receiver group and still found a way to shine bright. The Fayetteville senior had some of the quickest feet in attendance. And time after time, he used those feet to put linebackers and defensive backs on skates as he got in and out of his breaks in the blink of an eye. There’s no question that Cole got the most separation from DBs during the one on one competitions. College coaches should take note of this 2024 standout.
