Continue ReadingRoman Thompson Roman Thompson 6’0″ | 200 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2027 State PA flashed some serious skills last year for Pittsburgh Central Catholic. He played both linebacker and running back. At running back he showed an elusiveness to make people miss in the hole. Then when he got into the open field, he showed legit speed with his ability to run by defenders for touchdown or big plays. At linebacker, he showed good instincts and the ability to attack downhill and make tackles. Thompson did a nice job of triggering, getting upfield and making the tackle near the line of scrimmage. Thompson has a ton of talent and should only improve going into his Sophomore season.
Khalil Tayolor’s film is incredible. In the 1st play of his film, he takes the kickoff and runs, to the right, goes backward, runs to the left, breaks like 5 tackles, and races to the end zone. It was an incredible play. His film is littered with plays like that. He took several big plays to the end zone. Seton LaSalle used him at wide receiver where he scored on wide receiver screens, hitch passes, jet sweeps, and any other ways to get the ball in his hands. Taylor flashed some serious big play ability and I expect he will continue to show great ability next season.
Every football program in America is looking for a long athlete who can tackle and make plays all over the field, Brandon Lockley, Jr Brandon Lockley, Jr 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2027 State PA is one of those types of athletes. He played safety last year and flashed an ability to come downhill and tackle very well. Lockley is the type of player who can play either outside linebacker or as a safety. He does a good job of triggering and coming upfield and making tackles in or near the line of scrimmage. Lockley is a talented player.
Highlights
Brendan Goode-Kimble has limited film but showed he has a lot of potential as a cornerback going forward. He showed that he is good in coverage and breaking the ball up when thrown to a receiver. Goode-Kimble also showed that he is good at coming upfield to make a tackle in the open field. Goode-Kimble is a talented player who should play even better going forward.
Highlights
Abraham Sesay Abraham Sesay 6’3″ | 190 lbs | DL Downingtown East | 2027 State PA is a long and explosive athlete. His film is really good, but it was either at the Freshman or Junior Varsity level. He has a super quick 1st step and just explodes off the ball. He is a raw athlete, but offensive tackles could not stay in front of him. Then when he reaches the backfield he is a good athlete to chase down plays all over the field. He also can knock passes down with his long arms. Sesay is a talented player and I cannot wait to see his progress in the future.

Max Roman Max Roman 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2027 State PA ‘s film was from Freshman or Junior Varsity, but he showed some good skills at wide receiver. He catches the ball well in traffic. Then when he gets into the open field Roman has good skills to run by defenders. Roman shows a good ability to catch contested catches as well. Roman should only improve as a receiver going forward.

Luke Laam Luke Laam 6’0″ | 185 lbs | ATH Malvern Prep | 2027 PA has limited film from when he transferred from Exeter to Malvern Prep, but he did flash some good skills. At wide receiver he took the 1st clip I saw a bubble screen for a long touchdown run after the catch. He also showed good hands and caught the ball well. Laam is the type of player who should only grow and get better. He is a good athlete and I cannot wait for his progress going forward.
Highlights
Ja’Shawn Lewis Ja’Shawn Lewis 6’1″ | 175 lbs | ATH Seton LaSalle | 2027 State PA is a talented player who played as a hybrid outside linebacker/safety for Shady Side Academy last year. Lewis does a great job in run support. He does a nice job of triggering and then coming upfield to make a tackle in the open field. Lewis is a big and physical player who could play multiple positions in the future.
