With less than one month until the start of the late signing period, we're starting to hear from college coaches looking for positions of need that went unfilled during the early window and even the transfer portal.

Want to see some of what we're sharing with them?

These uncommitted seniors are a good place to start.

We're not saying all these guys will or even should be considered for a Power 5 roster spot. But what they have done is prove to us time and again they should be playing on Saturdays come next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='208333' first='Slayton' last='Stokes'] C, Hartsville

Not only was Stokes a three-year starter for one of the state's best rushing attacks. Not only was he charged with playing center for that line. Not only was he named to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas (and then a captain for the South Carolina squad). And not only is he 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds and capable of running a sub-5.0 40. Stokes (pictured) was a lock for our Fab 50 team back in December because he's been that good for that long. We consider him the best center in the state and back it up with our ranking of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='91353' first='Jamarious' last='Lockett'] ATH, Gray Collegiate

Lockett put his name in front of us as a sophomore as Class A Ridge Spring-Monetta, when he hauled in 34 passes for a team-high 575 yards and seven touchdowns. He then spent two seasons at Gray proving how versatile he could be. He finished his varsity career with 2,243 yards and 29 offensive touchdowns. But he also stood out on defense, where he recorded five picks in 69 total tackles from his spot in the secondary.

[player_tooltip player_id='302853' first='Bryce' last='Rothwell'] TE, Lucy Beckham

Our top-ranked tight end in the Class of 2024 doesn't have a bare cupboard, as he's got a Power 5 PWO (South Carolina) a full ride from The Citadel and some significant interest from Navy. He's got visits planned for all three. But what that means is the plan is anything but sowed up heading into the second full weekend of January. The Shrine Bowler has solid hands in traffic to go along with great footwork when he's blocking, which was most of his prep career.

[player_tooltip player_id='91352' first='Kevon' last='Rivera'] RB, Hanahan

While other positions are more focused on height, we're pretty sure Rivera's 5-foot-9 measurement isn't ultimately going to hold him back. For starters, he's also 215 pounds. But those numbers shouldn't be what anyone's focusing on anyway. Because no matter what the tale of the tape says, Rivera rushed for another 2,100 yards this past fall to push him to 5,226 yards (and 63 touchdowns) for his career.

[player_tooltip player_id='267449' first='Debo' last='Hall'] DB, York

The NCAA Division-II interest and offers Hall has received may ultimately be the best fit. But whomever signs him is going to ink a high-energy safety who turned playing centerfield into an art field. Over the course of his last two seasons, the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder recorded 93 total tackles, five tackles for loss, seven picks, 10 pass deflections, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and a whole lot of leeway for the Cougars' safeties to take chances with their own coverages.
