Continue ReadingLanders is a dynamic threat at the quarter back position. He is comfortable throwing from the pocket or on the run. He has a live arm and the ability to throw to all three levels of the field. When he runs he does a good job of keeping his eyes up and downfield. When there is no throw to be made he’s an electric runner in the open field. He’s sudden and explosive in his ability to cut and make guys miss.
Harper is a fluid runner who runs detailed routes. He shows good foot work on his release and does a good job of selling fakes ounce he’s into his route. When the ball is in the air he is an explosive leaper and a natural hands catcher. Maceo is one of those players who everything he does just looks smooth and effortless. I really expect harpers recruitment to pick up this off season.
Thiam is a menace on defense. He plays sidelines to sidelines. He is explosive and downhill when pursuing the ball. Daymor is also a lethal blitzer in passing situations. He has the feet and the hips to drop and cover in zone or man situations. Though Thiam plays linebacker for the Falcons, I project him as a Box Safety at the college level. As he continues to get bigger and stronger, he will become an even greater physical presence in the run game.
Highlights
Imojah is a twitchy and athletic quarter back. He plays with great awareness and instincts. He has loose hips and a smooth back pedal to run transition. He does a great job of running the route with the receiver. When the ball goes up he has an explosive break and the hands to make an interception. If Fidelis can pull his first offer, he is a player I could see blowing up this summer.
Williams-Dixon is a long and explosive edge rusher. He does a good job of using his length to beat blockers. He has and elite get off. He’s physical at the point of attack and he’s violent when he meets the ball carrier. Elijah wins his reps mostly off of pure athleticism and physical traits. If he can work on how he uses his hands and his technique I think he has the opportunity to take his game to another level. Williams-Dixon has the physical traits the D1 coaches covet. I am excited to see what the future holds for Elijah.
Trey is a athletic Safety with great length. He does a great job of taking good angles and undercutting routes. There are many times where he makes a good read and steps in front of the receiver and makes the interception. He’s very comfortable playing in space and breaks well on the ball. Trey is also not afraid to deliver a blow when the opportunity arises. I don’t want to sound like a broken record but trey is another one who possesses D1 traits that coaches love.
Baron lines up on both sides of the ball for the wolverines. He’s a play maker at the Wide Receiver position on offense. He has the speed to stretch the field vertically. He has the jumping ability and hands to win tough 50/50 balls. On defense he plays in the defensive back field. I like him as either a Safety or hybrid Line Backer. The ball skills and athletic traits that show on offense also translate to defense. Hes comfortable in space and coverage and has the athleticism to go get it. Baron did not start playing football until his junior year. With more experience and continued physical development white definitely has the chance to get D1 attention.
