These guys left it all on the field, establishing themselves as top tier playmakers in their final season of prep football.
rnAt the top of my list of notable performers is Brax Belville Brax Belville 5’11” | 185 lbs | RB Brentwood Academy | 2024 TN , a running back at Brentwood Academy. Belville impresses me with his breakaway speed and ability to blast past the defense from along the edge. Belville also stands out with his catching ability, proving he can haul in quick passes off the snap and quickly barrel into the backfield. Another facet of Belville’s playstyle that made a considerable difference was his durable edge, showcasing his ability to escape the defensive line and take it to the endzone from just outside the goal line.

rnI am additionally impressed with Cameron Bosen Cameron Bosen 6’7″ | 300 lbs | OL Ravenwood | 2024 State TN , an offensive lineman at Ravenwood High School. Bosen stands out with his toughness and aggression, proving he can stop the blitz and prolong plays with his ability to both lock down his man and stay organized at the line of scrimmage. I also like how Bosen quickly overwhelms the defense off the snap as well as his ability to read their next move. Bosen’s excellent size and speed has allowed for him to lock down the defense, exerting his strength to open up the pocket for the rush.

rnClaiming the number three spot on my list is Jackson Bandy Jackson Bandy 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Nolensville | 2024 State TN , a linebacker at Nolensville High School. Bandy impresses me with his positioning, stopping power and ability to read the offense like a book. I also like Bandy’s ability to stun the defense with his physicality and force the occassional fumble after the tackle. Another aspect of Bandy’s playstyle that made a huge impact last year was his ability to quickly maneuver the pocket, overwhelm the offensive line and apply pressure on the quarterback.

rnAnother skilled prospect is Ethan Cunningham Ethan Cunningham 5’9″ | 180 lbs | RB Page | 2024 TN , a running back at Page High School. Cunningham stands out with his footwork and versatile edge, utilizing bursts of speed and durability to stay on his feet in the pocket and slip past openings in the defensive line. I also like how Cunningham can pick up speed and become untouchable in the backfield, proving he can take it all the way to the house. Cunningham also catches my attention with his ability to escape the defense from along the edge, using his electric speed and space to punch his team into the endzone.

rnComing in at number five on my list is Cooper McAfee Cooper McAfee 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Brentwood | 2024 State TN , a linebacker at Brentwood High School. What stands out about McAfee’s performance on the Bruins’ defense is his explosive speed and strength off the snap, using his arms to push off and stun the offensive line to find space to apply pressure on the quarterback. McAfee also makes a difference with his ability to disrupt the rush and protect the backfield, proving he can blast the running back in the pocket and make crucial stops when his team needs it most.

rnAlso worth mentioning is Jayden George Jayden George 6’2″ | 180 lbs | DB Centennial | 2024 State TN , a defensive back at Centennial High School. What makes George so impactful is his ability to consistently disrupt passing down the stretch, showcasing his ability to attack the ball in the air and swat it to the ground. I also like how George can quickly down receivers after the catch and haul in interceptions in the backfield. In addition to George’s aggression in coverage, I like his unpredictabiliy, proving he can juke out the offense off the snap and utilize bursts of speed to apply pressure on and sack the quarterback.
