Continue ReadingThe wide receiver group at the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Stock Up Showcase at the Yard in the Milwaukee area on Sunday was full of dynamic, playmaking wide outs who turned heads throughout the camp. From testing times, to individual drills, to 1-on-1’s, each and every wide receiver displayed great energy, skills, and athleticism. The following 5 wide receivers stood out the most as they dominated every single rep that that took.
Dilosa traveled from Indiana to compete at the WI Stock Up Showcase in Milwaukee on Sunday. He made the trip worth it, as Dilosa earned Wide Receiver MVP Honors following the conclusion of the camp. What stood out most about this playmaking senior was his speed. Dilosa clocked a 4.68 forty yard dash and exploded for a 9’11 broad jump. This speed translated to individual drills and 1-on-1’s, as Dilosa was smooth cutting in and out of breaks and was nearly un-guardable on vertical routes. This senior remains uncommitted but is sure to find a home soon after his performance at the Stock Up Showcase.

The 5’10, 168 lbs junior from Wauwatosa East was one of the fastest wide outs at the WI Stock Up Showcase. Mack was perhaps the most impressive player who tested during the skill session, as he raced to a 4.59 40 yards dash and a 4.30 short shuttle. He also jumped a 10′ broad jump. Mack showed high level athleticism that translated to drill work, as he showed out in 1-on-1’s by winning matchups on a variety of routes. Whether short, intermediate, or vertical, Mack proved to be a great separator and a smooth athlete who can defeat man coverage. This rising star in Mack is beginning to pick up steam on the recruiting trail.

Griffin is a bigger body wide receiver who measured in at 6’1, 185 lbs. He’s a sophomore who boasts a great frame and has athleticism that makes him difficult to cover. Even though he was one of the younger players at the camp, the Germantown wide out wasn’t shy when it came to taking reps. And when Griffin had his number called during the best-on-best portion of the camp, Griffin stood tall and won his matchup. As he continues to grow and develop, Griffin is a name worth keeping an eye on over the course of the next 2 seasons.

Mahr is a 6’1, 172 lb wide receiver from Stanley-Boyd High School. Especially considering his size, Mahr’s testing numbers were beyond exceptional. The junior posted a 4.65 40 yard dash, a 7.00 L-drill, and a 9’10 broad jump. This athleticism also stood out in drill work and 1-on-1’s, as Mahr was one of the smoothest wide receivers at the camp. He dominated his matchups, showing up as one of the toughest wide receivers to guard. As he heads towards his senior campaign, Mahr’s stock is on the rise.
