Continue ReadingThe Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase came through Weymouth, MA this past weekend. Our showcases are a great opportunity for high school football prospects to get exposure in front of college coaches and Prep Redzone scouts. Testing results were recorded for colleges across the country to access following the event. With Prep Redzone scouts in attendance, dedicated to highlighting top performers, players received unparalleled coverage during, and after the event on PrepRedzone.com and social media. After check-in, athletes attending were broken into three portions: testing, position-specific drills, and 1-on-1 competition. Testing included the 40-yard dash (hand-timed), pro shuttle (hand-timed), L Drill (hand-timed), and broad jump. We will be releasing these results here on the site in another publication.
The showcase ended with notable top performers being recognized and ended with the selection of an MVP for each position. The prospects below were selected as the Top Performers and MVP amongst the Quarterback group.
Kaden Silton
QB Top Performer: “Silton” shined brightly during the showcase. It was a pleasure to see his arm release up close to see what exactly is behind his quick release with accuracy that stands out in his skill set. He has a wide lower base that is compact and he has the ability to transfer his power in lower extremities into his throws. He took to coaching during the day when instructed with tips on specific drills and implemented those coaching tips into his performance. He seemed to glow more and more as the night went on and ended with a solid overall performance. He has a very good command presence combined with confidence when he is in the pocket and was observed again.

William Wood
QB Top Performer: His name is a common one known by many high school football minds in the New England region as he prepares to be the next QB up in fall 2024 for a strong Massachusetts private catholic league team, Xavarian Brothers High School. He has attended many of our middle school Next camps in the past, and has had eyes on him by many Prep Redzone Scouts before entering High school in 2023. He grades high each time he competes at our events and he repeated this cycle once again during the showcase.rnDuring the showcase, a few college coaches at the event were very impressed with his overall command presence and just how mature he is at a young age. In my opinion, his overall attention to detail combined with how he looks to absorb any tips he can get from coaches to become a better player, is what separates him from many.

Jayden Campbell
QB Top Performer: Campbell is coming off a season where he earned the starting QB position in fall 2023 for his Varsity high school football team in Brockton, Ma. His performance at the showcase easily confirmed how he earned such honors.I liked the velocity in his throws and ball placement during the camp. He took to some hard coaching during a rapid-fire drill while taking in criticism from the positional coach then turned into a positive experience during his next set of reps by throwing darts quickly, accurately, and efficiently. He also made some very good zone reads during competitive sessions while placing the ball in tight areas for a reception. His lower body will need focused strength work this off-season. He does have good footwork and balance seen in the pocket.

Lukas Prock
QB Top Performer: “Prock” is a prospect that surfaced during the season to our attention. He displayed a solid performance during the showcase.
His throws were accurate and he was efficient. He has good footwork and balance seen when he does his drop. He made some heated throws by using the power in his back foot to front through his hips. Has a thin lean frame currently and time he puts in the weight room this off-season will surely help contribute to his already established throws. Showed very good ball placement along with good timoing in his throws. Really liked what i saw from this young man skill set. He has a lot of time to continue getting bigger, stronger and faster while developing more skills to help take his game to the next level.

Landon Husereau
MVP Performer: A consistent name that we heard all fall season for weekly top performances and he displayed why at the showcase. Has a solid frame with plenty of room for additonal growth. His mechanics are very good and he performed with a sense of high confidence within his skills. This is a rare trait for a young prospect and a very good indicator of future college prospect. rnThe college coaches instructing QB’s were highly impressed with his performance on the day. His high ability to process – timing and work through his progressions was on full display during the competition period. He also flashed skills to make all college throws such as digs, curls, posts, fades, and comebacks. He separated himself on the day by being consistent with his throws which led him to the overall MVP choice for quarterbacks during the showcase.
