BROOKYLN PARK, MN-- We close out our Thursday night by looking at Part IV of my list of standouts from the Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. This list certainly unleashes the 2027 class, as I name my 2027 MVP from this group but this class also has three impressive 2025 prospects to know that should all be next-level football fits.

One of the youngest wide receivers on my radar that I thought showed some promising upside during our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase was [player_tooltip player_id='1105134' first='Dre' last='Collins'] of Richfield. The 2027 WR prospect has the athletic mobility at 6'1 165 pounds that was eye-catching at our Minnesota Showcase. Dre also was impressive with his on-ball skills as he showed off a sound vertical when I watched his 1v1 reps. He showed off a 8'9 on the broad jump which to me is promising for this young man's future as Dre on his early tape shows off great vision already for his age.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120554' first='Josiah' last='Matthews'], QB, Rogers (MN) 2025 Twitter

Some of the more eye-catching numbers from the quarterback position in testing came from Rogers 2025 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1120554' first='Josiah' last='Matthews']. At 6'3 170 pounds, Josiah's change of direction caught my eyes in the L-Drill (7.18) and in the pro agility (4.46) as the light feet Josiah showed off had some deer-like movement that I witnessed. He also showed off the balance with his throwing ability with his well-versed precision and touch that went along with it on all three levels of the field. Josiah is a gunslinger that moved to Minnesota from Georgia you should expect to know for the Royals next-year and should be a name to track at college camps this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120553' first='Joseph' last='Sylvester'], WR, Duluth East (MN) 2027 Twitter

By far my favorite 2027 prospect of the day, hailed from the Duluth East in wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1120553' first='Joseph' last='Sylvester']. In fact, I would have given Joseph my 2027 MVP from our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. Joseph checked all my boxes, with his enhanced burst, excellent fluidity, and his change of direction and explosiveness was excellent for his age. His testing numbers came out with bests of 4.81 in the 40-yard dash, 4.53 pro agility, 9'7 (twice) broad jump and 7.27 in the L-Drill. His elusiveness also popped out in the open field into Indy Drills as Joseph is an early favorite of mine of North Shore prospects already popping out in this 2027 class. He also is a state track qualifier already which is really impressive in Joseph's bright future.

[player_tooltip player_id='234900' first='Brady' last='Kittelson'], QB, Blooming Prairie (MN) 2025 Twitter

Brady was a prospect I recall from the Minnesota Camp last summer, but I got a fuller circle evaluation of his talents at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase has he balled out with showing off his athleticism. His agility popped out swiftly from my eyes and his testing numbers show it off too as Brady went 7.07 in the L-Drill and 4.5 in the pro agility. At nearly 6'2, Brady also impressed me with his SES analytic which measures size, explosion, and speed as Brady really impressed with the length of his strides with all the skillsets he brings to the table. I mentioned the term fluid earlier, and that is a great way to describe Brady's arm strength as well as this young man showed off some enhanced touch which should show off a scholarship-level talent much like his older brother.

[player_tooltip player_id='282093' first='Keegan' last='Knutson'], WR, Red Wing (MN) 2025 Twitter

Keegan is a 2025 wide receiver that I caught at the Winona State camp last summer and is one that every time I watch him, I certainly see steady growth from him as a pass-catcher out of Red Wing. Where he grew most from my evaluation at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase was his football IQ as he struck a chord with me with his awareness when the ball was in his wheelhouse. The fluidity he shows off with his route-running shows off some poise as Keegan also impresses me with the finish he shows on his routes which also showed off at the Winona camp last summer. I would expect Keegan to have a big senior season for the Wingers
