. The Richfield product and Minnesota Select AAU standout comes in at #22 in the PrepHoops 2027 Rankings and was recently selected to the All-Minnesota Basketball Team by the StarTribune last month, showing a tremendous skillset on both the gridiron and hardwood. In 202-26, Collins led Richfield to a 29-3 in 2025-26, beating Sartell in the Class 3A quarterfinal, losing to Delalsalle in the semifinals, then beating Northfield in the Class 3A 3rd place 78-70, and Collins totaled 18.1 ppg, 544 points in 2025-26, 33% from 3-point land, 6.8 rpg, 2.8 steals per game, and 2.4 assists per game.
Additionally, on the gridiron, Collins is one of the most dynamic 2027s in Minnesota, proving himself as a three phase impact player who opens his tape with a 50+ yard bomb of a TD reception, an instinctive and smooth pick-six, a punt return for a TD that he made look as easy as a jog around the lake, and then a kickoff return for six involving some shake, acceleration, and balance. Followed by another KOR TD. Talk about dynamic!
Deep threat, impressively rangy in coverage, aided by his outstanding length and overall athleticism, and even threw for a TD in 2025. Collins‘ elusiveness is on another level compared to his competition in his junior tape, and just going based off Minnesota history, Collins will more than likely hoop in college, but with the length, athleticism, frame, and splash-play ability, he’d make a heckuva safety or linebacker at the next level. Maybe receiver too. Get on the bandwagon now!

is one of the top DBs in Minnesota heading into the class of 2027, but his effectiveness as Richfield’s No. 1 WR certainly improves his status as a multi-purpose athlete prospect. Collins finished last season with 636 receiving yards on 37 catches and 3 touchdowns. For as good as he is in covering WRs, Collins possesses the quick twitch, eye coordination, and vertical jump ability to win just as easily against his DBs. Collins already has a flashy 32″ vertical jump ability while also showing impressive acceleration and burst off the line to burn defenders on the outside. Not to mention, Collins provides plenty of special teams value, serving as the team’s primary Punter and return specialist. Collins will be quite the X-Factor to watch for Richfield over the next few seasons.

is a standout two-sport athlete with a decorated background on both the gridiron and hardcourt, a mix that should never be discounted when it comes to scouting Minnesota-born-and-bred ballers. Collins is also one of the more popular 2027s in the state, having earned a coveted Junior Day invite to the Golden Gophers upcoming event, as well as a camp invite from the Wisconsin Badgers. With verified size at 6’3, 170+, Collins had one of the most versatile stat sheets in Minnesota, finishing 2024 with 6 total TDs, with three of them coming as catches, two as kickoff returns, and one as a punt return, and he threw for a TD. Plus, he also picked off 5 passes and caught 37 passes for 645 yards. To highlight more versatility, Collins played 6 positions in 2024, including punter, and his long strides cover a lot of ground with each step, and those same long legs him step and slip through tackle attempts at his lower body. He’s explosive, can cut at top speed, and shows good vision, as well as contact balance and the speed to finish big runs for six. Collins also possesses eye-catching 50/50 ball ability and can high-point the rock and shows some bounce when playing the ball in the air as well. He’s also fun to watch as a safety, as he can play hash to sideline and does a good job as a Cover 2 safety thanks to his range and ball skills, and he’s looking to score after the INT as well. Big-time versatility and playmaking ability in a verified frame is always going to be a popular mix.
