McDonald had a very impressive Freshman season for Tennyson in 2023, and previewed what is to come over the next three seasons. He is a elite athlete with open field speed, short area quickness and can lineup both out wide and in the backfield, while a natural runner with the ball in his hands. He shows good vision in tight windows with start/stop abilities and can make defenders miss in space while showing contact balance and a first level burst in-between the tackles. Downfield, he tracks the ball well over the top, can make contested catches and has big play abilities with a knack for the end-zone, which is rare for just a Freshman. He should continue to be one of the top playmakers the Norcal region has to offer over the next few seasons, and should see his recruiting stock rise sooner rather than later.

The Pacer Freshman is one of the more explosive playmakers that the northern California region has in this freshman class, and he put together a solid first season campaign for the state runner-ups. He is a very quick twitched player with strong hands that attacks the ball in the air and can win against press coverage with active hands near the LOS and does a nice job at getting into corners blindspots downfield, while also able to settle in zone coverage and find the holes at the third level. He is a smooth runner with some wiggle in the open field, and does not shy away from contact in order to gain the tough yards. Shabazz is another name that will be well known across the region over the next three seasons and it is clear that Grant has no shortage of up and coming young talent.
Fehoko is one of the most highly recruited Freshman across the western region, and is part of a very good young class for the Padres. Fehoko has elite athleticism for the position with good feet, balance and a strong punch at the POA that creates immediate vertical push off the ball and can finish blocks downfield while able to pull and get to the second level and sustain blocks. He is a high IQ blocker for a Freshman, and does a nice job at winning with leverage and a strong base through out his progression. SJSU, Tennessee and SDSU have already offered, and it will not be long until he is a 10+ power five offer kid.
