Continue ReadingIngrassia has been one of the more under-recruited kids across the state, and has one of the best arms and mechanics of any signal caller across Northern California. He has been leading the San Marin offense for multiple years, and has put up some big time numbers in the process throwing for over 5,000 yards and 75 touchdowns through the air, and adding another 11 rushing TD’s. In his Senior campaign, he helped lead San Marin to another NCS title game appearance, and threw for 3,000 yards and 40 TD’s, and has proved that he is a no brainer division 1 caliber quarterback that has been severely under recruited. Ingrassia boasts good mechanics, elite pocket presence and touch on the deep ball, while able to keep his eyes downfield and throw into tight windows while showing a quick release and the ability to make off platform throws look easy. He is a high IQ kid that scans the field quickly, and can throw his receivers open downfield while able to buy time with his legs and is not afraid to take what is given. He is seemingly comfortable throwing the short, intermediate and deep ball, and has a very strong arm downfield and throws a tight spiral with elite placement and touch over the top. Holding one offer from Utah Tech, it would not be surprising if a school comes in late and gets one of the better steals of the class across the region.
Lovett picked up a early offer from Campbell, but has been another one of the more under-recruited kids across the region in this 2024 class. Helping lead the offense for one of the most respected programs in the state, Lovett has shown that he is a proven winner, and has put up some big time numbers over the course of his career. He has a strong arm, is accurate underneath while able to quickly scan the field and move through his progressions, while not afraid to let it rip over the top and throw his receivers open downfield. He also shows a good pocket presence and can navigate while keeping his eyes downfield, and shows the ability to make off-platform throws across his body. Whoever picks him up at the next level will get a instant boost to their quarterback room.
Koett has been one of the more prolific passers across Northern California for the last several years for VDL, and has put up some impressive numbers in the process. In his Senior campaign, he was the league offensive MVP, and threw for 2,500 yards and 30+ touchdowns, while rushing for another 2 scores. He is a true pocket passer that stands tall in the pocket and puts nice touch on the ball when throwing vertical and can move safeties with his eyes before his release. When needed, he can scramble and run and is physical with the ball while not afraid of contact and taking a shot in order to deliver the ball downfield. He seems comfortable throwing both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, and will plenty of experience leading into his collegiate career behind center.
