Tashi has earned a sizable jump from the #34 spot all the way up to #21. The simplest reason why is that Tashi consistently showed up in the biggest moments this season. In the two games I watched of him (Week 1 vs Cass Tech and State Championship vs. Belleville), Tashi demonstrated elite play. Notably, he’s elite when it comes to body control and concentration through difficult catches. His body and long arms are rare, and it’s rarer that an athlete knows how to use their gifts to their advantage flawlessly.rnTashi looks to be dead-set on Toledo, and I’m honestly surprised a BIG 10 team hasn’t taken a chance on him.

Cody jumps from #61 to #47 in the rankings.rnCody is someone I really wished I had watched a game of in person. Last year, I remember thinking he was a solid Division 2 prospect in terms of skill level. Last offseason and this season, he’s proved to be a step higher than that initial evaluation.rnFirst, we need to take his size and testing numbers into consideration. He’s self-listed on hudl as being 6’4″ 215 with a 4.57 40-yard dash, 11.8 100M, 405lb squat, 445 deadlift. His size alongside speed and power (that also show up on tape) make for a very gifted, talented, and skilled player.
Cody’s film shows versatility and dominance in several aspects. Whether he’s playing as an off-ball middle linebacker or more of an EDGE rusher, Cody plays at 100 miles per hour, flies to the ball, and hits like a truck. As an OLB/EDGE, he does a phenomenal job at setting the edge, and better yet, he has the athleticism and explosiveness to blow those plays up. He also has quite a bit of film in pass coverage, and he shows a lot of promise there.
Cody started off as a prime GLIAC prospect, but now has garnered offers from Temple, Army, Toledo, Ball State, with PWOs from Wisconsin and Michigan.

Destin has a significant jump in these rankings and is at the top of the high D2 tier.rnMuskegon is a program I have spent a lot of time around, and I’ve come to understand a little of the dynamic of the team and how all of their pieces and personalities fit together. In terms of ability, I hold M’Khi Guy, Destin Piggee Destin Piggee 5’6″ | 160 lbs | ATH Muskegon | 2024 State MI , and Jake Price Jake Price 5’6″ | 175 lbs | RB Muskegon | 2024 State MI to similar regard. In short, Destin is an electric playmaker with RARE athletesism who can juke anyone out of their shoes and break any play for a TD.
How I’ve seen Destin stand out is with his leadership. I’ve witnessed Destin speak up in big moments on several occasions, and it’s always been obvious that his team looks up to him. I remember at the end of the De La Salle game early in the season, Destin stood in front of the team and delivered a passionate postgame speech. It was based around unity, hard work, and belief in the season. After the State Championship game, I heard that Destin had another impassioned speech that really stuck a cord with the team, leading them to a huge second-half and championship victory.
Let’s be clear- his skill has also improved since the last rankings update. Though his skill alongside his elite leadership traits make him in my opinion one of Saginaw Valley’s top prospects in the past few years.

Elisee has earned a 10-spot jump in the rankings.
This is another one of those players that I’ve seen quite a bit in person, and I’ve seen a very significant improvement in his game from last year to this year. It all started with a phenomenal offseason where it’s obvious he worked hard in the weight room.
Last year I viewed him as a solid DB who could go D2. In a year, he’s transformed himself into an explosive DB/RB combo who was unstoppable this season, making him a prime GLIAC prospect. I’m very impressed with his work as a running back, as although he was under no obligation to play that position, he transformed himself in the offseason and turned himself into the player he needed to be for his team.rnHe’ll likely stick to DB in college, I see things going very well for him at Saginaw Valley as long as he keeps up his current work ethic.

In one year, Jad has gone from a no-name raw prospect with ZERO offers and limited film to a rising star committed to Wayne State.
Jad is still a bit raw in many aspects. As a tight end, he could improve on his athleticism, speed, and strength. The things that make him stand out as a Division 2 prospect are his effort, on-field flashes, and his size. Jad’s film shows a willingness to block and initiate contact. He isn’t producing a ton of pancake blocks, but he gets the job done. In the receiving game, he ran a pretty varied route tree when compared to most TEs I’ve seen. Lastly, it’s his size at 6’6″ 235 that takes his potential to a new level.rnAlthough still raw, he’s shown strides this past season, and there’s a lot of optimism to be had regarding Jad’s potential.
