Corbin Johnson Corbin Johnson 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB South Decatur | 2025 State IN – South Decatur – RB – 5’8″ 175lbs – 2025
One of the best performances that didn’t win MVP was from the stud back from South Decatur. He was in the final 2 for RBs, but I thought overall he had a great day. His testing was pretty good with a 4.55 40-yard dash, a 9’2.5″ broad jump, and a 4.50 shuttle. He’s quick, has great change of direction, and overall fantastic balance. All of those traits came through on Sunday, but more importantly, I thought he showed he’s got good hands. Being reliable out of the backfield is big, and Johnson showcased on top of his athletic ability, that he’s able to give you an advantage out of the backfield. Johnson rushed for 1277 yards and 19 TDs this season but should be looking for more in the next year. He impressed on Sunday and continues to trend in the right direction.

Malachi Walden Malachi Walden 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Tri-West Hendricks | 2025 State IN – Tri-West – QB – 6’1″ 195lbs – QB – 2025
One of the better breakout seasons in the state was from Walden, who we covered just a few weeks ago, but had no idea he’d come light up the showcase. We know he’s a dual-threat QB who tears it up on the ground, but his testing results are fairly eye-opening. His ceiling may be a bit higher than we first thought. Walden runs a 4.60 40-yard dash, a 4.35 shuttle, and had the best broad jump of the night at 9’7″. The arm talent is there for Walden as well. There are times he doesn’t fully follow through with his throws, but when he does, he’s fairly accurate. He’s developing in the passing game no doubt, but making sure to take the open read and fight to live another down is where he can thrive. Walden has a ton of talent and looked great on Sunday, but he’s got to keep his head down and keep working. If he does, he could be one of the best dual-threat QBs in the Region, let alone the state.

Jacob Chenoweth Jacob Chenoweth 5'9" Central Noble | 2025 IN – Central Noble – LB – 5’9″ 180lbs – 2025
I thought that Chenoweth had some of the best 1 on 1’s out of any LB at the camp. Every single rep, he did a great job keeping his receiver in stride. He ripped through their hands when they went for the ball and did a good job avoiding contact that would create a penalty. He was able to flip his hips and run without any issues or losing any momentum. His change of direction is good and he’s well-rounded with his footwork and how he tracks the ball. It’s shown with his testing where he’s got a 4.5 shuttle and a 7.56 L-Drill. He’s a small school LB right up the road from me, but he didn’t waste his opportunity at this camp. He was easily one of, if not the best LBs in coverage all night and deserved some love for his efforts. He. reminds me of a guy that nobody typically wants to look at, but then when he’s starting for a University, schools are wondering where this ballhawk came from, and the answer will be small-town Indiana, where most people fly right over.

Brady Lantz Brady Lantz 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB New Palestine | 2027 IN – New Palestine – DB – 5’9″ 150lbs – 2027
There weren’t a ton of DBs there, but the ones who did show up made the most of their opportunities, and Lantz was no different. Not only was he locked in and got a ton of reps, but he tested well and was solid on 1-on-1s. He moves well, reacts well when coming downhill, and never once bit on a double move during 1-on-1s. He had a few reps where he forced the WR out of bounds, legally. Then, he had a tipped pass on a ball that should have been a completion deep downfield. He’s young but willing to take the coaching and looking to get better. He’s got great change of direction, and that’s backed up with his 4.65 shuttle time and 7.69 L-Drill. His 40-yard dash was a 4.90, but he certainly plays faster than that. Being that young, he’s still got time to develop physically which could easily help that straight line speed. Lantz didn’t play Varsity this year for New Palestine, but he’s well on his way if he continues to develop and play as he did on Sunday.

Landon Hughes Landon Hughes 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Cathedral | 2026 State IN – Noblesville – QB – 6’2″ 200lbs – 2026
If there was one Quarterback who quietly had a good day throwing the ball, it was Hughes. He’s young, had arguably one of the best frames in the QB group, and throws a nice football. There were some throws he was able to fit in a tight window and nearly aim it in the perfect spot. He also had a few deep balls that were perfect and right over the shoulder of the WR and out of reach for the defender. He could use some work with his feet and straight-line acceleration, but he’s a QB who could be as lethal as they come in the pocket. We didn’t have many opportunities to see how the QBs process, so it’s hard to get a gauge in that area, however, his timing on the throws were some of the best of the night. Before each rep, the WR tells the QB what route they’re running. Hughes would then sync it up to with how many steps he needed to hit his backfoot and get it out. A small thing, but it was something I noticed that showed his attention to detail and potentially high IQ. Playing QB is much more than throwing a nice ball, and Hughes showed me he at least, that he understands some of the deeper things a guy needs to do to be a successful QB.
