Semifinal Playoff Preview: Celina Versus Bishop Waterson

He lines up at wide receiver on offense and at safety on defense. At wide receiver he's a player who can stretch the field with his speed and ball skills. He's also used on jet sweeps and out of the wildcat where he will carry the ball and or throw it. On defense he's a ballhawk who's forced several turnovers this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 DB Caleb Gabes 6'1 175</strong>- Caleb Gabes lines up at safety for Celina as well. He has loose hips and transitions to turn and run well. He's comfortable in space and he breaks hard and fast when the ball is in the air or in the run game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 OL/DL Kaden Murlin 6'0 255- </strong>Murlin lines up at defensive tackle for the Bulldogs. Bulldog is a great word to describe Kaden's game. He has a strong get off on the snap. He's very active with an array of moves he uses to beat opposing blockers. He plays guard on offense where he's a strong run blocker. He has good feet, plays with good leverage, and has the strength to finish.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 TE/LB Carter Alstaeter 5'11 190- </strong>Carter is a versatile player player for the Bulldogs. He lines up at receiver and wingback on offense and linebacker on defense. He's a good blocker who will get carry's in the run game from time to time. He's comfortable in space in coverage and has a good awareness of where the ball is going. He's a downhill runner who shows great leg drive. When he's in his rout he does a good job of waiting until the last second to look and find the ball. He has an athletic build and a great frame to build on. He has quick feet an athletic pass set that allows him to win against smaller quicker defenders. He uses his length to his advantage keeping his man from getting into his body and shedding. He has good upper body strength that he uses to finish. If he continues to add weight and and strength, especially lower body, this young man has a really bright future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
