NW All Underclassmen 1st & 2nd Team (WA/OR) DEFENSE

The all-underclassmen team incorporates the entire region and takes into account the athlete's projection, current recruitment, and their accolades from this past season. Have a look at Oregon & Washington's best from the classes of 2025-27'.    *Athletes will only be listed on one side of the ball          O'Dea HS is in good shape moving forward for numerous reasons, but specifically because of their line, with some of the top big men anywhere in the West returning. [player_tooltip player_id='284217' first='FA' last='Siale'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402788' first='David' last='Schwerzel'] are listed among the top 26's nationally on the D line, with fellow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='726157' first='Kingston' last='Fotualii'] earning 1st team all-Metro honors on the offensive front.    Very similar to O'Dea, Kennedy Catholic has a plethora of dudes back, led by 6-5 245 pound DE [player_tooltip player_id='402789' first='Derek' last='Colman-Brusa'] who is garnering national attention. Through 10 games he has put up some unreal numbers, with 75 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks.    The Lancers also return one of the top secondary's anywhere in the region, with [player_tooltip player_id='945853' first='Landen' last='Kahai'] (5) [player_tooltip player_id='726151' first='Dante' last='Saladino'] (6) and [player_tooltip player_id='726164' first='Joey' last='Thomas'] III (2), accounting for 13 of the team's 19 interceptions this year.    Look for Archbishop Murphy to once again be one of the best at the 2A level in the coming seasons. They will feature two of the top young linemen in Washington, in 6-5 sophomore's [player_tooltip player_id='987158' first='Jack' last='Sievers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='987162' first='Hakeim' last='Smalls'], both who already hold division 1 offers.    6-6 freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] of Canby is one of four 2027 athletes on the underclassmen team. He was a big-time contributor this past season,  leading the team with 4 INT's. He has the potential of being a major D1 recruit at OLB/DE or at Tight End.    The NW features some of the top LB's anywhere on the west coast, highlighted by Washington's #1 & #2 recruits for the 2025 class in [player_tooltip player_id='348147' first='Zaydrius' last='Rainey-Sale'] & [player_tooltip player_id='273753' first='Jonathan' last='Epperson Jr'].    Rainey-Sale broke out over the off-season adding offers from the likes of Oregon, Florida St and Miami. The 4* LB finished 2023 averaging 10.8 tackles per game, with 6 tackles for loss, and 5 TDs.    Other Washington standouts holding D1 offers include conference POY [player_tooltip player_id='693685' first='Dre' last='Sio-Fetaui'] out of Lincoln HS (Tacoma), and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'] who will likely have most of the current Pac 12 schools offering before he's done.     [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] out of Lakeridge HS is one of Oregon's fastest rising prospects, having a player of the year type season, and finishing with 10 sacks and 23 tackles for loss.    Junior's [player_tooltip player_id='766200' first='Treyson' last='Eddleman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] both represented. Eddleman was a part of state history with his defense pitching 8 shutouts during the year. Davis helped Central Catholic win the 6A state title.    Two special freshman headline the secondary in [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] of West Linn and [player_tooltip player_id='928074' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] of Yelm. Molden has the potential of being ranked the top CB in America for his class. Williams isn't far behind.    Sophomore's [player_tooltip player_id='726165' first='Jasiah' last='Denmark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='945842' first='Zamarie' last='Tellez'] are elite, with Denmark adding an early UW offer, and Tellez being named the conference player of the year this past season.   Other Junior's ranking at the top of the charts include [player_tooltip player_id='693687' first='David' last='Kuku'], one of WA's fastest rising 25's who added Arizona St and Nebraska offers. 6-3
