That said, I have not stopped tracking our top prospects and their college offer or commitment status dating all the way back to August. Below are a handful of noteworthy prospects and their recruiting status updates. Congrats to this group of talented players and their families!
For as much acclaim as teammate Emanuel Ross Emanuel Ross 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ gets – and deservedly so – Bohm-Squicciarini is the beneficiary of a lot of one-on-one coverage. With ideal size for a wide receiver (6’4″ 215lbs), Bohm-Squicciarini has a college-ready frame that will be heading to the Keystone State as he plans to suit up for the Bucknell Bison next fall.
To be a versatile defensive back means two things: first, you are amongst the finest athletes on your team and second, you have the smarts to match. Schwartz does exactly that and more for The Hun School – so much so that the senior will be staying home to attend New Jersey’s finest higher education institution next fall – Princeton University.
Low-key one of my favorite public school linebacker-edge rusher hybrids of the class of 2024 has been Myles Hamilton Myles Hamilton 6’3″ | 190 lbs | LB Linden | 2024 State NJ . Hamilton is blessed with the familial pedigree, knowledge, and abilities to dominate the high school level and immediately impact the college level. The big question though, is where? The standout will be traveling not far, venturing to Connecticut for the next few seasons as he will suit up for Sacred Heart.
Deprima has turned heads all year long, leading Ramapo to a perfect 10-0 record entering state quarterfinal weekend and collecting countless superlatives along the way. Aside from finishing his prep career with a state championship, Deprima has much to look forward to as his time as a high school player wind down. In the fall of 2024 Deprima will be donning the color crimson, as he will head to Massachusetts and be the quarterback of the future for Harvard.
While many of the prospects we are catching up with so far have committed early in the summer, Jack Horan Jack Horan 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Freehold Township | 2024 NJ seems to be enjoying the recruitment process. Dating back to October I have been tracking Horan’s recruitment, with the first offer I became aware of him receiving from Norwich University. Since then Horan has tacked on offers from Wilkes University, Framingham State, and Nichols College – with certainly more offers to come.
After evaluating the Big Central Conference last year I knew Carteret was in store for a big year with the number of athletes they had on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Jackson was a total freak. This freakiness has paid off thus far, as Jackson announced what appears to be his first offer back on October 1. Notre Dame College out of Ohio reached into the Garden State and are hopeful that Jackson will commit to them when the time is right.
Just a football player through-and-through, AJ Bosch is a prospect that I seemingly saw at every camp during the spring. I did not matter the location, venue, against who, or where he lined up on the field – Bosch was game each time out. His dedication to his craft has paid off as Bosch will be joining Jack Bohm-Squicciarini Jack Bohm-Squicciarini 6’4″ | 215 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 NJ , lining up opposite him out wide for the Bucknell Bisons.
