Mueller was able to constantly pick up chunk yardage on the ground and beat the defense down. He was able to punch it in when the game was already secured and put the nail in the coffin to finish the game. He showed good vision throughout the game and was able to be physical when trying to make the first defender miss.
Price showed up in a big way for his team as he was able to rush for over 300 yards and punched it in 6 times. He was able to capitalize on the running lanes that his lineman gave him and was ripping some massive runs off. He has a lot of speed and is a dynamic game changer that should be on everyone’s radar for round 2.
Neto had a breakout receiving game but was being aggressive at the point of contact with his blocking as well. He was constantly making the first defender miss which turned into long runs after catch. He was able to use his speed in the open field and was explosive throughout the game. Will be a player to watch to see if he is able to keep this momentum going.
Anderson carried the load for his team as he was able to carry the ball 39 times for 193 yards and was able to punch it in 1 time as well. He was able to pick up small chunk yardage and was wearing down the defense throughout the night. He was able to follow his blocks and keep the offense ahead of the chains. He will need to build on this game heading into round 2.
Highlights
Campbell was able to show those flashes throughout the game that he has shown all year. He had a burst of speed that allows him to get through the hole and get on the second and third level quickly leaving them behind. He can be physical at times, running behind his pads and will look to build on this nice performance moving into the second round.
Symalla is a player that gets notable performance as his team lost but he was able to do somethings that kept his team in the game. He was able to use his vision, following his blocks and ripping off big chunk yardage. When he got into the open field was able to use his speed to out run defenders at time, turning it into explosive run plays. He was also able to help in the passing game, picking up blocks and giving the QB time to pass. Will be a player to add to the radar for next season.
