Earlier pre-season the writing was on the wall. The rise of the Tabor Academy program is in full swing. A new Head Coach is in place with former Umass Assistant Coach, Jeff Moore taking over with high expectations. Coach Moore, has brought the spotlight to the Seawolves program in his first year at the helm. So much, so that in-state Power 5 Boston College Eagles staff, and Umass staff, have taken notice of the young high-level talent already enrolled at the NEPSAC school in Marion, Massachusetts.
On November 6, 2023, the BC staff handed out five verbal offers to three Freshmen, a rising sophomore and a Junior. The move set the bar for what’s ahead in this updated program under the eyes of Coach Moore. The following players below all got life-changing news as they are now pegged for additional Division 1 college interest moving forward.

What we know: Saw him in live game action on November 4, 2023. His large frame easily catches an eye. Playing offensive line, he dominates the LOS and puts HS players on their backs. Shows the ability to naturally pass set, slide, and mirror with ease. Plays with a great natural wide base.
Can move the line of scrimmage by 5 yards at will. Gets to the second level with ease and wins in space. Displays great balance, rarely on the ground. Plays with excellent pad level by demonstrating great knee bend. Can maintain balance running and can hit moving targets downfield. Has very good agility, balance, and change of direction skills. His hip flexibility, knee bending, and body quickness are also visible at a high level. Seen as a constant threat anytime he is on the field. Has an instant release off of the LOS with low pad level and little wasted movement, a burst into the route, one-step cuts, impeccable catching ability, and the ability to separate himself from defenders with rare top-end speed and elusiveness. He is able to catch a jump ball easily as a post, shallow, slant, or hitch. He is very comfortable running all routes, possesses rare ball skills, has a great combination of size & speed, and has a willingness to block. His lateral movement ability and leaping ability are easily noticed on film. He will be a kid that ranks high within the class of 2027 when rankings are released in January 2024. A Canada transfer and new to New England this season. He runs with both power, speed, and balance and can pull away from second-level defenders easily. Displays exceptional lower and upper body strength. Has some length, and is put together well. Has a thicker lower body frame with obvious growth potential. Has very good fluid movement patterns, loose hips, balance and body control, elusiveness, and foot quickness. Shows the ability to keep the ball high and tight, and isn’t reckless when running with it.
Has an obvious explosive burst and acceleration!!! Can split defenders by “changing gears.” His power and ability to run behind pads is solid. Good leverage, lower center of gravity, ability to break tackles at LOS, ability to break tackles in open field, power through first contact (Yards After Contact).
Has a good process to LOS with the ability to one-cut and get vertical. He anticipates well, and sets up blocks, with the ability to process vision quickly. Shows a desire to be physical as a runner, physical in pass protection, and willing to block without the ball.
