Maddox Geralds Maddox Geralds 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Jonesboro | 2025 State GA – Jonesboro
One of the quicker and more dependable linebackers in the area, Geralds is a natural defender who can really attack and fly to the ball-carrier. He reads the play well and reacts quickly before the run or pass can really develop. He runs well and can get sideline to sideline to chase down the running back. He’s also shown the ability to disrupt opposing linemen and and make a play in the backfield. When he meets the runner, Geralds knows how to make a strong, fundamental tackle. He’s fun to watch and has been very productive this season as a junior, making 121 tackles on the season as a junior with 14 TFLs and two sacks. He gives max effort and was a tackling machine all year long, making 10+ tackles in seven of his 11 games. His biggest games came against Alcovy and Dutchtown, recording 17 tackles in both games. Now, he’s ranked as the No. 169 prospect in the state and could climb even higher in the next update in 2024.
Christian Crite Christian Crite 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Lincoln County | 2025 State GA – Lincoln County
A lean, athletic linebacker who knows how to deliver a massive hit on the ball-carrier, Crite is one of the very best junior linebackers in South Georgia and proved it every Friday night all season long this fall. Like the others on this list, he has a natural feel for the position ad racked up tackle after tackle every Friday night. He’s a tremendous run-stuffer who can take on blocks and close the gaps between the tackles. One of the hardest-hitting linebackers in the area, Crite plays with a physical style of play and knows how to wrap up and get the ball-carrier to the ground. In fact, Crite made an eye-opening 125 tackles and 17 TFLs to go along with one sack and one blocked punt. He’s a versatile defender who can play on the edge or in the middle of the field, and his outstanding production is why he earned a new ranking in the latest update. Now, Crite is ranked as the No. 165 overall prospect in the state for the 2025 class. One the film gets out to college coaches, look for his recruitment to possibly pick up in a big way.
Everett Currie Everett Currie 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Sprayberry | 2025 State GA – Sprayberry
One of the breakout linebackers in Cobb County this season, Currie was a football magnet all season long as a junior with a natural nose for the football. He can fly to the football and brings good size at 5-foot-11 205-pounds and showed easy D1-potential throughout the fall. He was an easy addition to the 2025 rankings after an outstanding junior season, and he’s now ranked as the No. 166 overall prospect in the state for the 2025 class. On the season, Currie made 115 tackles and 6.5 TFLs. He reads the run game well and knows how to get down-hill and make a big tackle before the ball-carrier can get through the line of scrimmage. He made 10+ tackles in six of his ten games this season, showing why he’s one of the most dependable and produtive linebackers in the area for the 2025 class. With his talent and production, look for his recruitment to really pick up down the road.
