[player_tooltip player_id='865705' first='Aiden' last='Davis']' favorite target in Wheeling Park's win over Brooke was senior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='880804' first='Keohn' last='Stephens Jr'] as he had his best game of the season thus far. Stephens Jr hauled in just four passes but averaged a staggering 40 yards per catch on them and finished the night with 160 yards receiving and scoring on three of them. He now has three 100-yard receiving performances in the past four games and colleges are taking notice. Stephens Jr picked up offers from D2 Walsh Sprint (OH) and West Liberty (WV) in the past week as his stock has risen in his senior season for the Patriots.

Morris rushed for 230 yards in total on 32 carries for a 7.1 yards per carry average. The junior running back finished his stellar performance with four rushing touchdowns on the night as the Buccaneers picked up their third win of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='866263' first='Curtis' last='Jones Jr'] - Cabell Midland '24 RB/LB

Cabell Midland senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='866263' first='Curtis' last='Jones Jr'] continues to have a big season carrying the ball for the Knights as he goes over 200 yards rushing again this year. Jones Jr finished his impressive night with 26 carries for 239 yards and three touchdowns as Cabell Midland got a monumentally big win over previously undefeated and defending state champion Huntington. He projects as a linebacker at the next level but the WVU commit is a very talented runner and perfect in Cabell Midland's daunting rushing attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='370253' first='Robert' last='Shockey'] - Cabell Midland '24 QB

The tandem of seniors [player_tooltip player_id='370253' first='Robert' last='Shockey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='866263' first='Curtis' last='Jones Jr'] was huge as Cabell Midland defeated defending state champion Huntington. Shockey is known for his running ability from the quarterback position and he showed that off well in the 31-21 victory. Arguably his biggest play of the night came on a fake punt in the 4th quarter with less than six minutes to go in the game clinging to a 24-21 lead and on their own 35-yard line. Shockey called his own number as he doubled as his team's punter and scampered 26 yards picking up a crucial first down for the Knights. Shockey finished the night with 150 yards rushing and a touchdown and a big win for the Knights.

He showed off his running ability in the game as well with 52 yards on 8 carries and a 6th touchdown. Long now has 1,400 yards passing and 17 touchdowns with just two interceptions on the season for the Redskins.

The senior gunslinger eclipsed the 300-yard passing mark again this season and finished his night with 363 yards passing and two touchdowns. He hooked up with junior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='907236' first='Ethan' last='Jackson'] on a 64-yard touchdown connection and another 29-yarder to promising freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1154937' first='Kaleil' last='Lewis']. Jackson scored on both offense and defense in the game and totaled 161 yards receiving on the night. He hauled in a 64-yard touchdown strike from QB [player_tooltip player_id='862778' first='Luke' last='Hudson'] that found him streaking down the seam of the field and behind the Knights' secondary. Jackson made an impact on defense as well where he's a very quality defensive back and returned a fumble for his second touchdown from around midfield to complete another very good performance for the junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='450997' first='Hunter' last='Giacomo'] - George Washington '25 LB

Junior George Washington linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='450997' first='Hunter' last='Giacomo'] is making us look like geniuses for having him on our Midseason LB Stock Risers as he has another 20+ tackles performance in a tough close loss to Spring Valley. Giacomo finished the game with 10 solo stops and 21 total tackles on the night for the Patriots. The junior had plenty of opportunities in Spring Valley's run-heavy scheme on offense and Giacomo made the most of them. Giacomo and the Patriots' defense held the Timberwolves to just 17 points in the game in a highly contested and hard-fought game as George Washington ultimately fell 17-14.

[player_tooltip player_id='1014121' first='Noah' last='Casto'] - Ripley '25 RB/LB

The Ripley Vikings fell to Class AA Shady Spring 33-18 but junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1014121' first='Noah' last='Casto'] was impressive in a losing effort. Casto eclipsed the 100-yard mark in both rushing and receiving in the game and totaled 225 offensive yards on the night. Casto rushed for 118 total yards behind some tough running and also had 107 receiving yards to go with it. He scored two touchdowns in the game and has been a bright spot during a tough season for the Vikings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183529' first='Lucas' last='Johaim'] - Lincoln County '25 QB

Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1183529' first='Lucas' last='Johaim'] has been a nice player for the Lincoln County Panthers this season and makes another one of our weekly standouts this year. Johaim had a very efficient night in a 38-0 shutout of Class AA Braxton County. He completed 86% of his passes on 13 of 15 passing for 182 yards and three touchdowns. Johaim now has over 1,000 yards passing this season and has thrown for 12 touchdowns for the Panthers.

The Parkersburg Big Reds got a nice duo rushing performance against Capital in a 56-14 win over the Cougars. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1125967' first='Jakel' last='Shelton'] was effective carrying the ball and in the passing game as he finished with 151 all-purpose yards on the night, Shelton carried the ball 11 times for 83 yards and two touchdowns in the game while averaging 7.5 yards per carry. He also added 4 catches for 49 yards and a third scored through the air which was his first of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='867208' first='Jason' last='Williams'] - Parkersburg '24 RB

[player_tooltip player_id='867208' first='Jason' last='Williams'] is finally eligible for the Parkersburg Big Reds and has his first big performance of the season in their win over Capital. Williams has only been available the past four games and they're getting him more involved each week.
