Week 9: Top Defensive Performances!

Last week, Harris was nothing short of outstanding in Thompson's recent matchup against Hoover where he showcased his versatility and playmaking abilities by making a ton of key plays for their defense. On the game, Harris totaled up 12 tackles, one sack, three hurries, and a massive game changing forced fumble that he also recovered. Harris is a dominant defensive back, it doesn't matter if you run or pass the ball against him- he plays with maximum effort and makes a ton of plays all around the field. Harris's performance was a key factor in Thompson's success in this game, there was nothing Hoover's offense could do against him. Last week however, may have been one of Outlaw's best performances yet against a tough Carver team. Outlaw delivered an fantastic performance on the defensive side of the ball- totaling up 7 tackles (3 for loss) and a sack as well. Outlaw was all over the place in this game, Carver could not seem to find a way to keep him out of their backfield and he was able to get tons of penetration to either bring down the ball carrier, or provide enough pressure to help his teammates make plays as well. Washington,  and last week he played a pivotal role in their recent 40-26 victory against Dale County. All throughout the game, Floyd flew from sideline to sideline to make a ton of key tackles- he really helped his defenses momentum and was a huge part of a bunch of big time stops. On the game, Floyd had himself a day with 15 total tackles, 2 of which were for loss. Floyd has a really good ability to see the field and react very quickly, its evident he has a high football IQ and is a really talented player on this defense.  read the game and disrupt plays in the opponent's backfield was on full display. Williams was causing Foley's offense a ton of trouble- they weren't able to get anything going his way. When it came to playing against the run, Williams did a great job getting after the ball carrier and sealing the edge, and against the pass, he was able to make some huge plays as well. Overall Williams was able to make an impact all over the field and had himself a big game, totaling up 11 tackles (one for loss), and a pick six as well. Williams made some game changing plays throughout this game, especially with his impressive pick six- were gonna have to keep an eye on this guy going forward- he's a really fun prospect to watch!","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-654121e311ca4"} /-->
