Does a ton for Archbishop Wood. Is the team’s leading receiver despite him not catching a ball last week because of taking over QB duties, presumably. Can align in the slot, is an option to call screens for when at wideout. Solid long speed, seen taking runs that start at the LOS 50+ yards on multiple occasions. Can work zone-read handoffs at QB, won’t be known as a passer. Like him at corner, leads the team in PBUs too. If the kid does pursue football at the next level, I’d project him to safety or corner. Wideout is an obvious choice, might have a floor here, with his ceiling being a starting DB potentially. Leads the team in scoring too.
Wrote about Bensalem’s Gavin Phelan Gavin Phelan 6’5″ | 270 lbs | OL Bensalem | 2024 State PA in the off-season, ranked him as a top 50 senior lineman, which is an honor considering some of the names above and below him.

His tape against Hatboro-Horsham gives you an idea of the bully in him. He’ll face better competition than this, but this is the type of temperament you get when Phelan is in his comfort zone. Left tackle duties, witnessed pushing and pulling often. Good initial punch, likes to rip his opponents after, resulting in a ton of opponents becoming off-balanced. Finishing ability is calling card, fun to watch him flatten kids when run-blocking. Want to see consecutive pass-pro sets, no mid-season tape out yet, just single game cut-ups.
Another special back that I discovered back in March of this year. Love to see him develop some interest via graphics and visits since.

Has an eight-minute complete tape fully encompassing what he brings to the table. 1,400 yards through seven games, averaging 3 scores a game. Video game numbers/production. Three sacks to his name to boot. Love his arm usage as a back, that might not be a compliment Cottrell has heard so far. Strong arm pumps allow the kid to stay balanced while cutting relatively hard. A lot of displacement and torque when this kid wants to cut, his arm sway/pump further accelerates and balances him, an advanced trait. Homerun speed, has angle-breaking speed at this level. Outside-lane vision is superb, bounces only when necessary.
Had a chance to see him in person recently, played a phenomenal half too. Voglesong has a ways to go if we are specifically breaking down his abilities as a passer. Strides need to be made, that being said, most collegiate suitors are likely taking Voglesong’s complete skillset into account when evaluating him. I like Voglesong to linebacker, it’s where we have him ranked currently, done so prior to the season beginning. Voglesong’s connection with Connelly, his ability to create with his legs, both passing lanes and first-downs, were all instrumental in CB East’s comeback effort against North Penn. Watching him made me rethink my overall opinion on the young man, regardless on if he can play QB at the next level. No mid-season tape to look at, but other single-game cut-ups have him providing a similar role. Toss balls to Connelly and company, all the while creating what he can with his feet. I still think a school will liken his skill set to the defensive side of the football, yet adding to his repertoire only helps his stock.

- HBack/TE/EDGE capabilities.
Has a three-minute tape conveying what he accomplished on the field through the first seven weeks, pretty much a full season tape. Love his H-Back role, often aligning as the second in-line tight end, one that can run routes from halfway in the backfield. As athletic as 240 pounds can be at this level. Has reps aligning as the SAM LB, some with his hand off the dirt, some with his hand in the turf as a true DE. Most of the H-Back/TE reps have him catching the football, later on tape, you can see him work some blocking into his film. Can block from in tight or split out. Can catch from these alignments too, solid overall weapon on both sides of the field, one that could definitely help a collegiate program.

This kid will be a steal for which ever program brings him in, firmly believe that. I have written and praised his on field abilities for what feels like years now, was a pleasure to watch him develop and progress from a kid with potential to a young leader on his loaded football team. Currently leads the CEC Eagles with 55+ tackles to his name, 15 TFLs too. Numbers are never going to illustrate what Pond brings to the table, however. Here’s to hoping coaches recruiting him can attend a CEC game before the year ends, he and his teammates are worth the trip. Shippensburg and West Chester have shown interest recently, both programs do a great job scouting eastern PA.

Sadly no tape to dissect from this year. Still a name in the area that those recruiting should know. Will wait for a future date to properly relay what Pomerantz brings to the table. Excited to see some new tape from both sides of the ball.

Another prospect that is lacking tape from this year. Voted a team captain in August, so the coaching staff clearly favors the young man. Might be out due to injury, hard to tell. Still a kid worth doing some digging on, especially considering his junior tape.

- 6’3, 195
Looks bigger than 195, in a good way. Can be a kid that turns and gets squared with the QB to act as a big target. Could be a project at tight end if he added some weight. Multi-faceted approach, CR South has him running seams from an in-line tight end position, corner routes when split out wide, even some screens called for the all-around athlete. He reminds you he can move a bit in when targetted in the short game. Can eat as a curl/hitch target too. Like him at TE moving forward. This is based on his three-game posted in mid-September.

Travis Lavelah Travis Lavelah 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB Neshaminy | 2024 State PA
I like many out of Neshaminy, seems like the number of quality prospects grows with each passing year. Senior back Travis Lavelah Travis Lavelah 5’8″ | 185 lbs | RB Neshaminy | 2024 State PA has caught my eye. Tough to bring down at the contact point despite his relatively small stature. Can be stationed in the backfield on third downs to catch the ball if need be. What he lacks in height he makes up for in weight force. Like the angles he takes when deciding to run off-tackle. Couple of reps on tape where Lavelah aligns split out at wideout, whether that be to catch passes or come around in jet-sweep motions. Will keep my eye on him for future big games this postseason.
