We saw plenty of intriguing stock-rising skillsets coming out of our 2025 class last Friday night as well as 2024 prospects that are making their mark midway thru their senior seasons improving their stock on their recruiting trail for their play.
Carter started off his tape in Week 6 showing off versatility at the linebacker position which showed off solid vision with elusive instincts attacking the run and range with his pass coverage. In the Demons rushing attack, Carter showed off great inside vision and showed off significant balance on contact with fighting forward for extra yards with his work ethic. He’s most effective off his first cut, which sets a steady tone for the duration of his runs as a prospect that logged 20 carries and 205 yards in Week 6 for the Demons. Twitter
Jake shows off from his Week 7 tape that he is a consistent attacker in the Kindred run game showing off patience and excellent vision running thru what his Vikings offensive line gives him, as a QB prospect that is a play-maker when in space. He also has an edgy first step that plays with a ton of range at linebacker from sideline to sideline. The top athlete in North Dakota’s 2025 class also shows off elusive instincts with his football IQ as a quick decision maker that looks like a strong FCS target in my eyes. Twitter
Trey has developed nicely in his senior season with his play diagnosis, as he has grown more instinctive with his angle he takes to the football and constantly finishes his tackles with excellent physicality on contact especially attacking the run against Mayport-CG in Week 7. He also has grown with his hands in pass-rushing scenarios as his hands seem to get quicker off the defender each week I get to watch him on tape. That translation has come over to the offensive side of the ball as well, as Trey has gained strength off initial contact and has become more agile as an east-west runner. I certainly see Trey as a prospect that could see more Division II attention come his way in the coming weeks. Twitter
Another 2025 prospect that popped out in Week 7 was Grand Forks Red River offensive linemen JB Walters JB Walters 6’4″ | 260 lbs | OL Grand Forks Red River | 2025 State ND . The amount of controlled strength JB showed off in Week 7 as he showed off a prospect that can drive consistently into the second level and also has grown with his agile first step as a pull blocker against Fargo North. JB also was excellent against the Spartans with his angle-blocking, as he won several 1v1 battles by getting his defender off balance with the strength that his punching ability carried. JB also showed off plenty of finish with the reps I saw as an OT prospect that will continue looking for contact until the whistle blows. Twitter

Tyson showed off an excellent change of direction on both sides of the ball for the Magicians against West Fargo Sheyenne last week on tape. His first play on tape shows off a loaded fluidity with his agility in the open field as a prospect with excellent straight-line burst. Within the Minot rushing attack, Tyson shows off a prospect that has downhill balance thru contact and one that will fight for those extra yards. His best skillset at running backs comes along the edges as he has an excellent twitch to his right and shows elusiveness between the tackles to his left. Holds one Division II offer thus far with plenty of other interest in the NSIC from local Dakotas/Minnesota schools. Twitter
Known mostly as a 2025 quarterback prospect, however the defensive side of the ball showed off for Westhope’s Walker Braaten Walker Braaten 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Westhope | 2025 State ND last week as well. The range that Walker shows off at 6’4 makes the field look smaller with his pass coverage as Walker didn’t just show off how much range he can cover has as a free safety against Duniseth last week with his long-strides. It was the eye-popping vertical this young man showed off which caught my attention which comes from his excellent basketball background. Walker also has excellent poise and a fiery quick release on tape, which should certainly appease college programs throughout the Dakotas as one of the top play-makers in the 2025 class that will be a stockriser upcoming. Jerry has certainly found his spot for Fargo South at defensive back as a prospect that has grown with his football IQ. Jerry showed off glue instincts with his ball-tracking ability last Friday in pass coverage. Jerry also has also since last season developed more in tune pursuit angles with his tackling ability, as free safety that can proficiently slow down the ball carrier despite not being the biggest FS prospect at 5’9 160 pounds he wins with his efficent contact level.
