About Trey
Expert Analysis
Nate Wahl | Prep Redzone Scout
Trey has developed nicely in his senior season with his play diagnosis, as he has grown more instinctive with his angle he takes to the football and constantly finishes his tackles with excellent physicality on contact especially attacking the run against Mayport-CG in Week 7. He also has grown with his hands in pass-rushing scenarios as his hands seem to get quicker off the defender each week I get to watch him on tape. That translation has come over to the offensive side of the ball as well, as Trey has gained strength off initial contact and has become more agile as an east-west runner. I certainly see Trey as a prospect that could see more Division II attention come his way in the coming weeks. Twitter

showed off how dimensional he is on both sides of the ball is just 2.5 quarters of work in last week’s game against Oak Grove Lutheran. Trey plays so much longer than his measurables will show you, as his first play on tape he shows fluidity with that long lower body to take a screen pass with balance around the edges of the field for a touchdown. He shows off what is a swiss-army knife offensively, that will persistently keep the defense on their toes with where he is in the formation. Defensively, Trey stands out as a textbook tackler with plenty of force when he makes contact at the point of attack even with a short stride to the ball. Trey shows yet another workhorse for extra yards, as he took an army from Oak Grove Lutheran deep into his game tape for extra yards. I would love to see Trey get some NSIC attention from local schools around the upper Dakotas and Minnesota, as a linebacker that I believe is under the radar and due for a significant jump when we uncover our 2024 rankings here soon.
