Continue ReadingJefferson is one of the top ’26 prospects across the state, and currently holds offers from Arizona, Oregon State, UNLV and San Jose State. He has been putting up impressive numbers on both sides of the ball this season, and can play multiple positions at the next level but should find his home at corner. He seems very comfortable in man coverage, has elite twitch and hip fluidity in transition while able to quickly break on balls with natural instincts and elite breaking abilities once the ball is out. Jefferson is not afraid to come up in run support in space either, and is a sound tackler in the open field with outstanding ball skills and recovery speed if beat downfield. Jefferson is a no brainer high level power five caliber player and should see more national offers come his way this off-season.
Blair is the next up and coming top tier signal caller from the Bay Area, and currently has Miramonte as the top seed in the NCS D-V rankings, per multiple sites. He has been making a impact at the varsity level since his Freshman campaign, and is one of the more accurate and prolific passers in the North Coast Section, as a Sophomore. Blair shows tremendous poise in the pocket and mobility to evade the rush while keeping his eyes downfield and staying patient through out his progressions. He also shows good throwing mechanics, a quick release and can fit the ball into tight windows downfield, while able to pinpoint on outbreaking and in-breaking routes. Look for Blair to have a huge off-season on the showcase and camp circuit and start to turn some heads.
Highlights
Bell is an elite level running back, and no doubt a high caliber next level kid that still has two more seasons of his high school career and was well over the 800 yard marker rushing halfway through the season. He has great explosion at the first level with contact balance, leg drive through contact and shows that he can set up his blocks with patience before breaking it outside or hitting his second gear through the hole. Bell also shows vision in space with cutback abilities, forces defenders to take poor angles and also displays short area twitch in the hole and has true home run speed in the clear. He should start to see FCS+ level interest come his way through this off-season, and see his stock rise this Spring as he enters into his Junior season for one of the top teams in the North Coast Section.
