I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Andre is a special talent up in Whatcom County. He can play both sides of the ball at a very high level and should have more looks from colleges at the next level. In my eyes, he could play Division 1 ball and would fit good at schools such as Idaho, Eastern Washington, etc. He has fantastic speed and catches everything that comes his way. He rarely drops the ball and can juke any defenders out of their shoes. During week 2 he had 5 catches for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night. He also had an interception on the defensive side of the ball.
Highlights
Marius had a great season last year for Yelm and is looking to grow on that during his senior year. More college coaches should be keeping an eye on him as his abilities on the field will easily translate to the next level. His brother, Damian, is throwing him passes and the two of them really do have a special connection. It’s been showing early in the season as during their week 2 game, Marius had 11 catches for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night. Be on the watch for these 2 brothers as the season progresses.
Kai was a standout to me last season, having multiple solid games on both sides of the ball. He’s a great talent who goes under the radar but stands out weekly and shows his abilities every game. Defensively he locks up his side of the field, as usual. Offensively he had a huge night, going off for over 150 yards. He has amazing speed in the open field and is tough to bring down, given his elusiveness. During week 2 he had 11 receptions for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night, also contributing an interception as well.
Highlights
Asa is a top 2026 player in the entire state of Washington, being a top 2 way player in my eyes. He can play the defensive side of the ball at a high level but he’s a standout on the offensive side. He’s a natural playmaker who has great speed and runs AMAZING routes. He stops on a dime perfectly and creates just the right amount of space that he needs to make the grab. During week 2, he had 5 receptions for 140 yards with 2 of those catches going for touchdowns. Be on the watch for this 2026 athlete.
Dante Brunk
Dante Brunk
Dante is a player who I didn’t see much of last year, but the Bulldogs were mostly a running team for the past few years. As they are transitioning into finding their new identity on offense, they went to QB Michael Johnson and had him sling the ball throughout the night. Brunk was his favorite target, bringing in 7 catches for an outstanding 159 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night. Dante is quick in open field and can run very solid routes, getting open at just the right time for his quarterback.
