UPDATED: Washington 2029 Rankings (Top 100) 1-25

With the athletes still being so young, it's tough to add a numerical ranking at this point. The individuals ranking is very general in nature and will likely adjust a great deal in the coming months & years.         Here we will breakdown the top 2029's in the state of Washington with groups representing #1-25 and #26-50. This list was put together in collaboration with Andrew Nemec. Check it.. The 4* recruit was ranked as high as the #2 O lineman and #13 overall prospect in the nation by one publication. He is incredibly deserving with the film speaking for itself.    One of the fastest rising stocks of any lineman on the west coast for his class. Wilson earned 1st team all-conference honors as a freshman, something incredibly tough to do at such a young age. His dominance in the 3A title game against elite D1 talent was telling.    2.[player_tooltip player_id='1397350' first='Xavier' last='Berry'] 6-7 275 T Federal Way WA OFFERS (10) Oregon, Washington, Utah, UCLA, Cal   UPDATED: The size and wingspan are just a few of the attributes which help him project as a Sunday guy. He is listed as the #1 player in the state by multiple services and the nation's #3 O lineman. Everyone will want to see what type of film he puts together, now playing against some of 3A's best.    Berry makes the move to Federal Way from 1A Cascade Christian, with the Eagles now featuring a plethora of top young talent. The 6-7 tackle was named a Max Preps freshman All American and he could double his offer total in the coming months with another good off season.      3.[player_tooltip player_id='1969806' first='Kitiona' last='Tupua'] 6-2 300 DL Puyallup WA OFFERS (16) Texas A/M, Texas, Washington, Utah, TCU   UDPATED: It's extremely difficult to have Tupua ranked the #3 recruit in the state, considering he's one of the nation's top 5 D lineman for his class. He has a chance to be the WIAA 4A POY as a sophomore, especially if the Vikings win the state title.     Tupua could end up one of the most recruited D lineman in the country before he's done. Puyallup has the potential of being ranked nationally as a team as well.    Tupua had an unreal freshman season, earning 1st team SPSL honors, while totaling 26 tackles, 4 TFL's, and 2.5 sacks. He is already blowing up on the recruiting front with offers from the likes of Texas A/M, Minnesota, UNLV, and New Mexico.    4.[player_tooltip player_id='1397315' first='Justin' last='Suega'] 6-4 195 WR Federal Way WA OFFERS (9) Miami, Washington, Utah, Arizona, Wash St   UPDATED: Once again, the depth of Washington's 2029 class is ridiculous. Suega would rank #1 in some other states. He's listed as a top 10 WR nationwide and one of the top overall prospects in the country. This will be a big year for him to prove himself against much better competition.    I would expect 10 or more TD's and 1000+ yards from Suega as a sophomore after making the move to Fed Way. Top coach and Super Bowl champion Reggie Jones says, "He's the top receiver in the state and arguably the country for his class."   5.[player_tooltip player_id='1397322' first='Marquis' last='Tovia'] 6-3 185 DB/ATH Rainier Beach OFFERS (6) Washington, UCLA, Utah, Cal   UPDATED: Tovia makes the move from Chief Sealth HS to Rainier Beach where they should be one of the more competitive 3A programs in the state. He has blown up as much as anyone over the last few months, landing a handful of major offers. As good as he's been on offense, he broke out on D over the offseason, now projecting as the #1 DB in Washington for his class.    The 1st team all-league WR averaged 15 yards per catch as a freshman and is equally talented on the defensive side of the ball. He projects as a double digit D1 offer athlete and someone that provides universities options with his versatility.    6.[player_tooltip player_id='2065218' first='Siosaia' last='Malietufa'] 6-2 170 WR Puyallup WA OFFERS (1) Colorado St   UPDATED: The standout youngster makes the transfer from state champ O'Dea to 4A state title favorite Puyallup. He should fit in nicely opposite 6-5 D1 WR commit [player_tooltip player_id='1188105' first='J'Isaiah' last='Mitchell'].    Malietufa has been killin it on the 7v7 circuit as part of FSP garnering all types of recognition. I would expect him to land an additional 5+ offers this off season at showcases and other events.    Malietufa will be a legit national prospect. As a freshman he garnered 2nd team all Metro honors for the 3A state champs, possessing size, speed, and a work ethic that can't be taught.     7.[player_tooltip player_id='1397382' first='Damari'ae' last='Barrington'] 5-10 190 RB Rainier Beach WA OFFERS (4) Miami, UNLV, Tulane, Nevada   UPDATED: Barrington's name has more than gotten out, hauling in multiple division 1 offers from the likes of Miami. He had a successful freshman season at the 4A level, making the move from Spanaway Lake to Rainier Beach.    Spanaway had a decent year in a tough conference going 4-6, with the freshman Barrington getting 50+ carries for the team. Look for his name to get out next season.    8.[player_tooltip player_id='1557937' first='Jadis' last='Lefono'] 6-2 200 QB Lakes WA OFFERS (1) San Diego St   UPDATED: When all is said and done, Lefono will be one of the most decorated recruits ever to come out of Lakes HS. His freshman year numbers and accolades were telling.    This kid is legit on all fronts. He is tough and has a mentality you can't teach. The fact that he was named the Offensive MVP in the 3A PSL Nisqually as a freshman speaks to his upside.   Lefono was off the charts good all year for a Lakes team that finished 10-2. It's rare to have a freshman lead and dominate like he did, finishing the season with 27 TD's (17 passing, 10 rushing) with 2,196 total yards. His 6.35 yards per carry average speaks to his ridiculous athleticism.    9.[player_tooltip player_id='1384751' first='Kehano' last='Corpuz'] 6-0 165 WR Graham Kapowsin WA OFFERS (1) Sacramento St   UPDATED: Corpuz plays opposite two of the best receivers in the West in [player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'], both of whom put up 1000+ yards, just to put his statistical potential into perspective. He continues to rack up accolades on the 7v7 circuit as part of HEIR.    Expect Corpuz to be in the POY conversation as early as next year. The numbers spoke for themselves this past season catching 49 passes for 661 yards and 4 TDs, to go with 13 tackles. GK will be a state title favorite in the years to come.    10.[player_tooltip player_id='1397377' first='Andrew' last='Peapea'] 6-2 225 LB Federal Way WA OFFERS (1) UNLV   UPDATED: Peapea will miss the first half of the season due to the transfer rule but has a chance to lead and be a big part of a special 2029 class at Fed.    This kid has a no-nonsense demeanor and will come up and look to destroy you from his LB spot. Peapea transferred mid-season from Cascade Christian to Federal Way and will be required to sit out until early October.    11.[player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'] 6-3 185 QB Archbishop Murphy WA   UPDATED: Even with all the talent lost to graduation last year for ABM, they bring back a bunch of dudes on the perimeter. Sorensen will be a key add that keeps them in the state title hunt.    Archbishop Murphy made a statement going 13-0 while beating a solid Tumwater team 35-20 for the state title. ABM graduated multiple D1 athletes with Sorensen making the move from Woodinville.    Sorensen projects as one of the top QB's in Washington for his class, earning all Kingco honors as a freshman. He hit on 66% of his passes, averaging close to 250 yards passing per contest, with 11 TDs in 5 games.    12.[player_tooltip player_id='2133898' first='Rayden' last='Shanks'] 6-4 185 LB Bethel    UPDATED: Bethel plays a legit schedule, and Shanks will have a lot of eyes on him this coming season, considering his projection and all of the talent that has come through the school at his position.    Shanks was a 2nd team all-conference LB as a freshman in the brutally tough SPSL which speaks to his game. He's long with the ability to add some significant size to his frame. Bethel continues to produce major D1 LB prospects like Zaydrius Rainey-Sale and Ramzak Fruean. He has that type of potential    13.[player_tooltip player_id='2133899' first='Elijah' last='Shaw'] 5-11 175 DB Bellarmine Prep    UPDATED: Some of the best freshman film I've ever seen. The 1st team all-league returner is back and one of the most unknown talents in the region. I could easily see him ranked in the top 10.    Really like this kid. Shaw was a 1st team all-league selection as a freshman and plays with no fear, looking like an old school John Lynch from his safety spot.    14.[player_tooltip player_id='570837' first='Jagger' last='McEwen'] 6-3 175 ATH/WR Chiawana WA   UPDATED:  This is definitely a big move with the Kamiakin QB standout making the transfer to Chiawana, where he will make a positional change as well. McEwen's a phenomenal overall athlete (basketball) but there are still a lot of unknowns. The Riverhawks scored big.    McEwen has the prototypical size and the mindset to play big time college football with continued progression. He has been doing well for Team Lillard.    The young QB didn't miss a beat as a freshman hitting on 100/177 passes for 1,658 yards and 21 TDs/8 INTs at the varsity level. Expect to hear a lot about him in the years ahead after leading his team to a 9-3 record.    15.[player_tooltip player_id='1397388' first='Ahmire' last='Rooters-Hart'] 6-0 175 CB Mount Tahoma WA   UPDATE: Potentially one of the top ranked CBs on the west coast when all is said and done. Rooters-Hart has good size and will be expected to do big things as a sophomore.   Rooters-Hart continues to excel on 7v7 circuit for Heir Academy after a breakout freshman campaign that saw him garner 2nd team all-conference accolades for 3A runner up Mount Tahoma.    Mount Tahoma made a statement losing a close one in the 3A state title game to O'Dea 21-14. Rooters-Hart was a big part of that, finishing with 35 tackles, 11 PBU's, and 2 INTs. Unreal numbers for a youngster.    16.[player_tooltip player_id='2133976' first='Noah' last='Starr'] 6-1 160 CB Kamiakin   UPDATED: Starr will have a chance to separate himself from other top DB's in the region as a sophomore. All eyes will be on him with high expectations after excelling as a freshman.    The standout multi-sport corner continues to up his stock on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard. He started every game in the secondary for a quality Kamiakin program who consistently competes in the playoffs.    17.[player_tooltip player_id='1557935' first='Isaac' last='Thompson'] 5-11 180 ATH Eastside Catholic   UPDATED: Thompson started for part of the year at the Varsity level as a freshman scoring 3 TDs. He has some of the best film in the Northwest, playing 3-4 different positions and returning kicks. He has all state potential as a sophomore.    18.[player_tooltip player_id='2133900' first='Toa' last='Tunai'] 6-0 190 WLB North Thurston WA   UPDATED: Some of the best film of any 2029 in the region. If Tunai continues to grow and progress he could be a major D1 recuit. He earned 2nd team all-conference accolades as a frosh.    19.[player_tooltip player_id='2079670' first='George' last='Woods'] 5-10 170 Safety  Graham Kapowsin WA   UPDATED: This kid is the real deal. The brother of record setting WR Jabez Woods had a phenomenal freshman season, making 46 tackles with 3 INTs for a top ranked GK team that will compete for a title every year.    20.[player_tooltip player_id='1557829' first='Miguel' last='Martinez'] 6-0 235 LB/DE Emerald Ridge WA   UPDATED: From a projection standpoint, it's a size thing. If we are talking pure talent, he's one of the best in the state for his class. We will see how much he grows and develops in the coming year.    The versatile defender plays with his hair on fire projecting as a multiyear 1st team all SPSL athlete. He earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a freshman.    Martinez will be one of the best in the state for his class on the defensive side of the ball. He was influential as a freshman finishing with 28 tackles, 10 TFL's and 1 sack.    21.[player_tooltip player_id='1557819' first='Romiece' last='Taviuni'] 5-9 185 SS Graham Kapowsin WA     UPDATED: The 1st team all-league returner makes the transfer from Lakes to Graham Kapowsin, where they will compete for a 4A state title. The depth chart at GK is unreal but if there is any sophomore who shouldn't have a problem with that, it's probably Taviuni.    Watch the film as Taviuni only knows one speed. He's only 5-9, so size is a question mark, but he checks all the other boxes.    Taviuni was a 1st team all conference selection as a freshman defying all odds. To say he has no fear is probably an understatement finishing among the state leaders in tackles with 76.   22.[player_tooltip player_id='2079658' first='Ludolph' last='Misher'] 5-6 165 ATH Federal Way WA   UPDATED: He's undersized but super talented with his numbers as a freshman speaking for themselves. Misher will be part of an elite 2029 group for the Eagles.    Federal Way continues to produce elite athletes with the likes of Chico McClatcher, Zamarie Tellez, and potentially Misher. The undersized slot consistently made plays this past season, totaling 580 yards and 8 TDs on 37 touches (20 rushes, 17 receptions) at the varsity level.    23.[player_tooltip player_id='2079669' first='Toa' last='Haertling'] 6-0 205 LB/RB Southridge WA   UPDATED: Haertling was exceptional as a freshman doing a little bit of everything for a 6-5 Suns team. Defensively he was a team leader as a 9th grader which is extremely rare, making 65 tackles with 4 sacks at the varsity level. He also rushed 19 times for 114 yards and 2 Tds.    24.[player_tooltip player_id='2162696' first='Brayden' last='Wahl'] 6-4 280 OL Archbishop Murphy WA   UPDATED: Wahl has great size and film, starting as a freshman for a Lakewood team that went (2-8). It's hard to know exactly where he projects as of right now, but he does look like one of the better lineman in Washington.    25.[player_tooltip player_id='2079671' first='Gabe' last='Walker'] 6-1 210 LB Moses Lake WA   UPDATED: It was a special year at Moses Lake to say the least with the team finishing 11-1. A lot of eyes will be on Walker with a bunch of talent returning.    As a freshman Walker stepped up for one of the top 4A teams in the state, making 15 tackles with 5 TFL's and 3 sacks. He has elite size for his age group and played beyond his years.
