Putting up five touchdowns in the game, Hopperton was the catalyst for his offense all game long with his impact as a running back and receiver. Combining for 273 yards of total offense in his debut game of his senior season, Hopperton isn’t doing anything we haven’t seen him do before. He showed impressive balance in his cuts to work up field for big plays. He played hard in the red zone to convert tough scoring opportunities. Showed off his speed for big gains in the open field, looks to have even better acceleration this season compared to last. Was a hard tackle all night long, made big gains in the gym with good results as a complete back. Hopperton was a major factor as a junior and looks to be another that will be fighting for offensive honors this season.
Highlights
Roderick Love Roderick Love 5’9″ | 180 lbs | RB Padua Franciscan | 2025 State OH made a big splash during his sophomore season with a record-breaking postseason performance to build big hype towards his junior year and he didn’t disappoint when the lights came on. Rushing for 194 yards on 25 carries, Love was in his element in week one while finding the end zone twice. He showed off his explosive tendencies with agility to break through the defense. His track-star speed was more than enough to bury the defense in his wake on more than one carry. Now the focal point of the offense with experience in his role, Love looked ready for a rivalry matchup by letting his game do the talking. Showed good burst when running between the tackles, has the speed and balance to hit the edge hard and work upfield. One of the top backs in his class coming into the season, Love showed why he has people talking with a dominating Friday night performance.

It’s well documented Poochie Snyder Poochie Snyder 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Canton South | 2024 State OH is a baller at the quarterback position and to kickoff his senior campaign he picked up right where he left off last season. Snyder accounted for five touchdowns in week one with a big performance with his arm and legs. Snyder was efficient passing with big plays happening along the way. Completing 9-of-11 passes for 195 yards and three scores, Snyder’s big play ability with his arm was on full display while operating in complete control of the offense. He looked sharp on his third level passes, dropping a couple in the bucket with precise accutact. His mid range throws came in with good velocity with an even faster release. Getting big results with his legs, Snyder ran for 180 yards and a pair of scores. Snyder looked in midseason form already and raised his recruiting stock with two Division I offers to his name already.

Marco Cirigliano
Marco Cirigliano
Few players put up the numbers Marco Cirigliano did as a junior rushing for more than 2,500 yards and 45 touchdowns behind a dominating offensive line. Showing he didn’t lose a step in his first game of his senior year, Cirigliano ran for a pair of scores and added one through the air to lead his team to a dominating win in week one. Rushing for 151 yards in his first game back, Cirigliano was back to his ways as a dynamic back with home run potential. He brings power and speed to his game as a player who also shows good patience for plays to develop before launching himself towards an opening. Plays with a low center of gravity to be a difficulte target to bring down. Often makes the first man miss with either agility or power. He is an under-recruited player who deserves respect for his game. Cirigliano is going to continue to put up big numbers and be a player defenses focus on to contain, rather than stop because there is no stopping him over the course of a full game.
