Jaxon Knutson Jaxon Knutson 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB McClintock | 2025 State AZ is a 6’3 200 pound quarterback making his debut for McClintock High School. Knutson did not disappoint tossing 7 touchdowns on the day and throwing for 478 yards. The McClintock quarterback has the size you love at the position and it was displayed by him breaking tackles while scrambling. Knutson has a big arm and is able to throw from different platforms making him dangerous on the move. He is accurate with the deep ball connecting on multiple deep passes throughout the game which help lead to 478 yards on 30 attempts. As a 2025 recruit Knutson has chance to make a name for himself this season and seven touchdowns isn’t a bad start.
Jack Germaine Jack Germaine 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Mountain View | 2024 State AZ is a 6’2 190 pound quarterback playing for Mountain View high school. Germaine put on a show Week 1 throwing for 344 yards and four touchdowns. He is an accurate passer throwing into tight windows for touchdowns. While he doesn’t have the biggest arm he is able to anticipate and find receivers down field with great timing. He can throw from different platforms and has the ability to make plays outside the pocket. Germaine uses his athleticism to get yards and run for first downs when he team needs it. It was an excellent start for Germaine as he tries to ascend to an FBS offer.
Mason Bray Mason Bray 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Saguaro | 2024 State AZ is a 6’1 185 pound quarterback who was making his first start for Saguaro. In a tough matchup vs A.L.A Bray had a breakout performance throwing 309 yards and five touchdowns. Bray is a traditional pocket passer with a big arm to make throws to every level. With a slimmer frame he moves in the pocket well finding time to connect with open receivers. He is accurate to all levels of the field with a quick release and good mechanics. What stands out is his toughness in the pocket, with willingness to stare down the barrel and take a hit. Bray put up an excellent debut as he becomes the leader of Saguaro football team.
Demond Williams Demond Williams 5’11” | 180 lbs | QB Basha | 2024 State AZ is one of the most explosive players in the 2024 class. The Basha quarterback started his season off with a bang having 432 total yards rushing and passing. Every time Williams has the ball in his hands it is must watch television. Even at 5’11 185 pounds Williams is tough to take down in the open field. He left Westwood fans amazed when he reversed fields and ran for 76 yards touchdown. He does it with his arm as well having a cannon that can make every throw. He has a quick release and can make strong throws downfield rolling left or right. Add that in with the accuracy where he can pin-point into tight windows. He has to make the Arizona Wildcats happy he has verbally committed.
Simon Lopez Simon Lopez 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Red Mountain | 2025 State AZ is a 6’2 175 pound quarterback making his first start for Red Mountain high school. Lopez made the most of his debut completing 87% of his passes and throwing three touchdowns. Lopez is a good athlete with the ability to help in the run game and scramble to make plays with his legs. He is an accurate passer especially on out routes where he always has great placement outside. When he gets out of the pocket does a good job keeping his eyes downfield where he can make a play with finding receivers down field. Lopez is an unknown for the 2025 class as we speak, but if he keeps up these performances he can create some buzz.
