Andrew Caranna, K, 2024 – Andrew is a stud in all phases of the kicking game. He can really bang it with great technique, hang time, and height. He is currently ranked as a 4 Star Punter/Kicker. He averages almost 40 yards a punt and routinely kicks the ball in the endzone on kickoff. He is very good at the directional kicks and places them away from the returner. He is very accurate with his FG’s and has a big leg to make the long kicks. Keep an eye on him this season.
Jefferson McKinnon, LS, 2024 – Jefferson is a very good long snapper with accuracy and zip on the ball. He places it right in the hands of the punter. He has great set up and technique. He can hit some really fast times at 15 yards. He gets down the field quickly with the ability to tackle well. His short snaps have zip and accuracy. He gets big in the hole and can take a hit. Jefferson is a very under the radar player but certainly worth your look. He has an offer from Pace and has visited Marshall, University of St. Thomas.
Lake High School
Charlie Christopher, LB, 2025 – Charlie is one of the best young LB’s in NE Ohio. He has some good D1 offers on the table. He plays with his hair on fire and is all over the field making plays. He reads plays really well and is patient before triggering. He plays downhill on inside run and maintains his gaps. He is very fast over the top of outside run and makes plays at the LOS with proper leverage. His drops are quick and he cancels underneath routes with quickness. He makes plays on the ball in the air and through the hands. His tackling ability is above average hammering ball carriers. He blitzes properly with good technique. Sky is the limit for Charlie.
Nathan Baker, WR, 2024 – Nathan is a stud WR. He had 44 catches last year for an astonishing 1203 yards. He plays in multiple alignments at a high level. His athleticism is off the charts with twitch and wiggle. He is one of the best open field runners in NE Ohio. You can align him in the slot and have him run deep, screens, or jet sweeps. He catches the ball well with hands and eyes and gets YAC everytime. He can jump with the best of them on the high ball and competes. His blocking is sufficient and looks like he takes pride in it. He had a great camp season and I am looking forward to seeing his play this year.
Joe Garro, OLB/SS, 2024 – Joey is a stud with good size and frame. He is very fast with good athleticism. He is a beast on the edge and makes his presence felt every play. He plays a hybrid position at OLB/SS. He has great ability to read plays. On run to he sets a hard edge. On run away he gets over the top quickly. He escapes quickly and makes plays in the backfield and on the LOS. His pass drops are quick with good swivel. He closes the space quickly. His best ability is in the pass rush blitz game. He obliterates the edge and bends tight back to the QB. He uses a rip and dip move to the best of his ability. He finishes well at the QB and always goes for the ball. Has has good offers on the table but certainly good play at the D1 level.
