Elazar Hood Elazar Hood 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB St. Francis Desales | 2025 State OH , CB, 2025 – El will breakout in 2023. He is an excellent cover and run stopping corner. He is fast, athletic, and twitchy. He sets the edge in the with toughness and makes great tackles. He is certainly not afraid to get in the mix. His zone skills are advanced using his flexible hips to stay on top of the routes. He battles in man coverage staying in phase. He is a competitor when the ball is in the air. Looking forward to his 2023.
Raesean Betton, OL, 2024 – Raesean has visited some great D1 schools this past year. He had an outstanding camp season and is ready to break out for real in 2023. He is a large human with great strength. He blocks with aggression and moves defenders off the ball with ease. He zone doubles well with his teammates and is patient to the second level. He pulls with speed and mashes defenders in space. His pass posture is upright, punch is powerful, and keeps his feet planted. QB’s are protected well up the middle. Looking forward to seeing him compete in 2023.
St. Charles
Will Bratt, WR/DB, 2024 – Will is very talented on the football field and baseball diamond. He carries a high GPA and has developed leadership qualities. At WR is utilized in a variety of alignments. He is the go to receiver on 3rd and critical downs. He catches the ball in front of him and gets lots of YAC. He runs precise routes utilizing spacing well. He wins the contested balls most of the time and competes. He can score anytime the ball is in his hands. At DB plays Safety at a high level. He is patient in his reads applying the correct technique based on R/P. He has high tackling ability using his hips to drive defenders to the ground. He high points the ball and has a knack for takeaways. Keep a good eye on him in 2023.
Will Lawler, QB, 2024 – Looking forward to seeing him play this season. He is tall and filled out. His arm strength can get the ball downfield. He throws very accurately on the run. In the pocket uses great mechanics to read the play and get the ball to where it needs to go with zip. He runs hard and can hurt teams with his legs. He has command of the offense. He is a leader who maintains a 4.3 GPA.
Bishop Watterson
Rudy Kessinger, K, 2024 – Rudy was a big part of the deep playoff run last season. He will continue his contributions in 2023. The ball simply jumps off the foot regardless of the action. He is explosive getting great height on the ball. Last season was all everything. On FG’s has the proper timing and technique routinely getting points from 30 yards out. His kickoffs rarely are returned. He has the ability to perform complex specialty kicks. He is a Kohl’s 5 star and currently ranked #2 in Ohio. I am excited to see his play this year.
