Zach Lawrence Zach Lawrence 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Butler | 2025 State NC – Butler
Lawrence has developed very well over his first two seasons with the Bulldogs and has picked up a lot of recruiting attention, with his latest offers being from Minnesota, Charlotte, James Madison, and East Carolina. He stands at 6’1 and 195 pounds, and he has very good arm strength and consistent ball placement both inside and outside the numbers. He has been most dangerous from the pocket in his career but stated recently at a media day that he truly wants to become a dual-threat quarterback this season. He is a Class of 2025 prospect.
Justin Little Justin Little 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Independence | 2025 State NC – Independence
Just like his counterpart Lawrence, Little is a Class of 2025 prospect as well. Standing at 6’0 and 175 pounds, Little is a true dual-threat at the position, but don’t be fooled because he really has strong abilities from the pocket. That’s reflected in his stats from last season where he threw for over 3600 yards and 41 touchdowns. Little makes smart decisions in the Patriots RPO based offense and has excellent ball placement on throws to all areas of the field. He has offers from Jackson State, Alabama A&M, James Madison, Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, Charlotte, & Campbell currently.
Jackson Debe Jackson Debe 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Providence | 2026 State NC – Providence
The first time I saw Jackson was actually at a JV game when I was told I had to come to see a baseball player who had some immense potential as a quarterback. Jackson threw a touchdown pass with some incredible touch and ball placement for a JV quarterback, and I knew his time on the JV would be short-lived. Fast forward to today, and Jackson is becoming a major Power 5 recruit with offers from East Carolina, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Liberty, & James Madison. He has taken visits to Alabama, North Carolina, Ohio State, and Penn State most notably. At 6’3 and 190 pounds, he has a strong arm to get the ball outside of the numbers and a quick over-the-top release. He is a Class of 2026 prospect.
Trey Blakeney Trey Blakeney 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Hough | 2025 State NC – Hough
A bit under the radar, Trey steps into some big shoes to fill after the graduation of Tad Hudson who will play at North Carolina. Trey has done a good job of developing over the last two years on JV and getting some snaps on varsity as the backup quarterback. But with offers from East Carolina and Charlotte, Trey has some talent in his game. Standing at 6’0 and 190 pounds, he has a very accurate arm and delivers the ball with good anticipation on his throws. He has some dual-threat ability and can make throws outside of the pocket when things break down. He is a Class of 2025 prospect.
KD Smith – West Charlotte
This young man is an impressive athlete – he holds offers from Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State as a defensive back, but he will play quarterback for West Charlotte this season as well. And having someone with Division 1 athletic ability under center is something you always have to account for. KD is a threat to run the ball first and forces defenses to be accountable in the run game for him. His passing game is coming along, but the Lions have a big offensive line, so as long as he is able to consistently put the ball in places on the outside for his receivers to win one on one matchups, he will be a major threat for the Lions offensively. He is a Class of 2026 prospect.
