Justin did a good job managing the offense in this game. Justin didn’t need to throw it a ton with the Patriots run game cooking so well, but a lot of their success comes from how he manipulates the handoffs in their zone read and their RPO’s. It makes the defense be a step slower at the second level, and with the Patriots backfield, that can make all the difference. I spoke with Justin after the Patriots victory.

I thought Justin played a very good game for the Patriots, he was very efficient in distributing the football to multiple targets and was able to extend plays with his legs on multiple occasions. The biggest thing – he did not turn the football over and he found open receivers for big plays, especially in the first half. He also made some tight window throws over the middle that were impressive. Justin finished 201 yards passing and a touchdown against a talented Mustangs secondary.
