Playing alongside a number of talented players, Porter stepped up in week one to make stops and get after the quarterback. Comes off the edge hard with strength to overwhelm offensive tackles. Has the ability to read blocks to fight against them to plug up holes. He has the patience to see where the play is headed and attack at small openings against linemen. Has good closing speed to attack plays run to the opposite play side. Relies on his strength to get off blocks, but has the quickness to pull off spin moves. Is a player that can't be overlooked along a talented defensive line to show the true strength of the Braves defense.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14936655/64e239200dcb1404c4314a4bu0022u003ehttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/14936655/64e239200dcb1404c4314a4bu003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Micah Krenek","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"2405","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Olentangy","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Micah Krenek comes into his junior season with a wealth of varsity experience to his name playing along the interior offensive line. Krenek plays with the edge coaches need to see out of an interior linemen to take the fight up the middle and win. He is a quick player that delivers explosive hits to quickly clear out space for his backs to work into the second level. Handles one-on-one pass blocks against bigger defensive linemen with great strength and flexibility to bend and gain leverage to give his quarterback ample time to get the ball off. Provides double-team blocks when he is left uncovered. Shows good aggression when crashing down on his pull blocks to not give up a step to knock defenders out of the play. Krenek plays from center with a lot of confidence that radiates around an offensive line that doesn't give up much pressure.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16268226/64e26ee85eec490b7002b6e8u0022u003ehttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16268226/64e26ee85eec490b7002b6e8u003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1114014' first='Pete' last='Jarvis']","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'2u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"2405","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Medina","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1114014' first='Pete' last='Jarvis'] has a well-documented past of keeping his quarterback's jersey clean while taking down some of the best defensive linemen in all of Northeast Ohio and he continued that trend in week one. Jarvis plays a dominating brand of football from the offensive tackle position. Showing good flexibility to take contact and redirect his man, he will be a key point along the offensive line to keep his quarterback upright and the offense moving. He has great strength in his upper body to control his blocks to open holes in the running game. Plays well in pass protection with fluid movements and soft feet to keep his body in front of a defender to create a brick wall effect. Pass protection will be the key to Medina's success with Division I talent lined up against the Bees and Jarvis will need to be a leader by example to set the tone for the offense at the point of attack,rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14508138/636ffa509a9be10798a9bdcau0022u003ehttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/14508138/636ffa509a9be10798a9bdcau003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["769230"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='769230' first='Cooper' last='Josefczyk'] was as big of a factor in the red zone on defense as he was on offense in a week one win over Stow-Munroe Falls. Collecting a number of big plays on defense when his team needed him most, Josefczyk took no prisoners near the goal line for a couple of key stops. His motor was on full display coming up big on special teams for a punt block few players could pull off. Showed good poise playing up from the middle linebacker position to help contain a mobile quarterback from breaking the big one. Committed hard to stopping the run by shooting gaps hard with precision to halt forward progress. Shows good moves when block shedding against bigger linemen to get past blocks. Was a factor on offense with a rushing score from a couple of yards out. Josefczyk made a splash to open his junior season and will be a key defender for the Bees in this match up.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16535659/64e118a9bd74cf052c539010u0022u003ehttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/16535659/64e118a9bd74cf052c539010u003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["661594"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"The X-factor in this matchup comes down to playmakers once the ball gets to them with two great quarterbacks expected to sling the ball all over the field. [player_tooltip player_id='661594' first='Jack' last='Wojciak'] plays the X-factor in this one as one of the most reliable pass catchers for the Bees. He proved himself game in and game out all last season as a player who can make difficult catches and work upfield. He is a dangerous runner in space track star speed and quickness. He gravitates to open space when his route is cleared to provide an open look for his quarterback to find on pressure plays. Is a dangerous option in the first and second level as he comes back to attack the ball to ensure positive yardage. Does not take plays off with a team-first mentality to block for his team. Is a major factor in the return game to help set up his offense. Wojciak shows up big every Friday night and will need to be at his best in a game that could turn into a shootout.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14549107/64e2ce76ff0cc40a74efcf39u0022u003ehttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/14549107/64e2ce76ff0cc40a74efcf39u003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64e7791d37bc2"} /-->
