The 2028 Watch List: Versatile Playmakers Planning Big Impacts

Burcham is primarily a runner who is a legitimate threat to go the distance with the ball in his hands. Burcham can make defenders miss in space like a running back, and has the extra gear needed to break away from defenders and win a footrace. I think his college/next level fit could be at receiver or tailback. Perry has good first-step quickness off the line-of-scrimmage and has very good hand placement, engaging blockers effectively and neutralizing rushers in pass pro. Perry runs his feet on contact to get vertical push and create open running lanes. Keep an eye on Perry during his upcoming junior season. Keep an eye on the 5-foot-10, 145-pound passer during college camps when coaches get to see what he can offer in-person. McCray displays a quick release, strong arm and good deep-ball accuracy. The 5-foot-8, 200-pound prospect plays bigger than his size; Young is very fast in pursuit, takes great angles and defends the flat, making open-field tackles and wrapping up in space. Young flashes instincts and twitch, and has the athleticism to also play running back as well.
