2027 WR [player_tooltip player_id='968851' first='Jamier' last='Avarette Brown'] (Wayne) 5'10 160- The old saying that speed kills fits Avarette-Brown to a tee! In just two short weeks he already has a 70-yard touchdown reception and an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. On both plays, he shows off eye popping speed. In week 1 Brown takes a kickoff, quickly accelerates before making a cut, and then is gone. Week 2 against Pickerington Central he used his speed at wide receiver to get behind the defensive back., tracked the ball well, and made an over the shoulder catch. After the ball was in his hands, he again used his blazing speed to take it to the house. He ran a mind blowing 10.90 in the 100-meter dash to win the Jr. High State track meet. As Jamier continues to learn the nuances and skills of playing the wide receiver position to accompany that speed, he's going to get a lot of high-level college interest.

2025 LB [player_tooltip player_id='968829' first='Myles' last='Harrison'] (Pickerington Central) 6'3 210- Harrison had a big week 1 performance versus Olentangy Liberty with three sacks. At 6'3 210 and only a Junior, Harrison, has excellent size for a linebacker. He lines up a lot in the two-point stance on the line of scrimmage. Myles has a strong get-off that he uses to win the edge and the bend to shorten the distance to the quarterback. He has the strength to also provide a good bull rush. Most of the plays he makes at this point are really just him being a good athlete. As he starts to learn how to set up offensive tackles and use his hands, he has the potential to turn in to a really good pass rusher. In the run game he shows good awareness as he always has his eyes in the backfield looking for the ball. With a strong junior season of film Myles has a chance to burst onto the D1 college recruiting scene.

2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='969291' first='Carson' last='Palmer'] (Lima Central Catholic) 6'3 210- Palmer has had a strong 2 games to start the 2023 season. As a passer he's been an efficient 19 of 26 for 416 yards and 4 touchdowns. He's accounted for another 254 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground as a runner. As a runner Palmer has the size and athleticism to get yards on both designed runs and on zone reads. As a passer he compliments both his and his offense's ability to run the ball with the ability to stretch the field vertically. He throws a pretty deep ball that he can drop into the bucket. This summer Carson earned an offer from Ohio Dominican, and with a strong season the interest in him should continue to grow.

2026 OL [player_tooltip player_id='969008' first='Elijah' last='Berman'] (Chaminade Julienne) 6'3 265- The sophomore offensive lineman is a key cog in the Chaminade Julienne rushing attack. Berman has a good frame and carries his weight well. He has plenty of room to add good weight. The Eagles are a very run heavy team and allowing Elijah to show off his athleticism and foot speed. Elijah does a really good job of pulling on trap runs. He is compact in his pull and gets around the center quickly. He keeps good balance and is athletic in his ability to get downfield and block. Eljah has good lower body strength and the hips to stand up defensive lineman when they're lined up over his head. As he continues to fill out and get stronger in the upper body, I think he'll become a strong finisher who has a chance to become a dominant blocker at the high school level.

2026 DE [player_tooltip player_id='958764' first='CJ' last='Barbara'] (Liberty Benton) 6'3 190- Barbara is getting his first varsity action this season. CJ gets off the ball well and plays downhill. He uses his hands well to counter the offensive tackle's punch and is able to dip and bend to get to the corner. His motor is really impressive. On a couple of occasions, you see him pursue and make the play from either across or down the field. Barbara has done well using his quickness and athleticism, he now needs to continue to develop by adding good weight and strength. That weight and strength will allow CJ to be able to add a strong bull rush which will help to diversify his attack for when he comes up against more athletic blockers who can take away his speed rush. There's a lot to like here though, it's just a matter of continued physical and skill development.

2024 Hybrid LB [player_tooltip player_id='969231' first='Dajuan' last='Sales'] (Northmont) 5'11 200- Sales is a heat seeking missile on the football field. As a hybrid linebacker he can both play fast and downhill in the run game and he can also drop in coverage. In the run game quite simply, Sales, is a heat seeking missile on the football field. Dajuan is violent when he looks to strip the football when the opportunity presents itself. In just two games he already has forced fumble off of a strip and a scoop and score off a fumble. He's a defensive playmaker. In the pass game he has loose hips to turn and run and is disciplined in positioning himself and keeping his eyes on his reads. He's explosive in his react and gets to the ball in a hurry. I look forward to a strong senior year of good film that will result in opportunities to play at the next level!

2027 WR Jamier Averette Brown Jamier Averette Brown Jamier Averette Brown 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Wayne | 2027 State OH (Wayne) 5'10 160- The old saying that speed kills fits Avarette-Brown to a tee!
