Quincy Porter Quincy Porter 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ ‘s impact was felt throughout this game Red Bank did their best to double him but it came back to bite them near the end of the second half.
When Bergen Catholic fakes a screen pass to Porter it influences two Red Bank defenders out of position allowing, Chris Perotti to score on a Slot fade.
Porter has visibly been working on his body and his routes making him look like a college wide receiver with two years to go in his college career simply put Porter is the total
BERGEN’S STOUT DEFENSE IN THE MIDDLE
Between Delany Fludd and Elijah Kinsler Elijah Kinsler 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Bergen Catholic | 2024 State NJ , trying to tussle with those two in the middle of the line was an insurmountable task for a young Red Bank offensive line.
Fludd plays with great leverage and works with top defensive line trainer Coach L.T. As a result, has good hands and solid pass-rush moves. Indicative of a counter spin he hit during the game that led to quarterback pressure. In addition, his run defense was spectacular consistently beating his one on one defender my
His run defense was the story of the game as he consistently defeated his one-on-one matchups or withstood a double at the point attack. Fludd looked like a dominant interior in this game.
Kinsler held his own as a run defender, but his impact was best shown as a pass rusher. A player that I call the best pass rusher in the state took full advantage of a young offensive line and created many quarterback pressures. Kinsler has a good size but separates himself with a nice pass-rush bag. Kinsler played like he had a point to prove.
Making his name as a defensive back. Kaj Sanders Kaj Sanders 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Bergen Catholic | 2024 State NJ was the driving force in a three-headed Bergen Catholic backfield as a running back. Scoring two rushing touchdowns, Sanders showed not only he has solid contact balance but has the juice to be a difference maker and create explosive plays on the ground.
Cohall’s defensive impact cannot be understated by any stretch. For the first half of the game, he was a disruptive force. With a combination of tackle for losses and quarterback pressures. At 5’11 160 pounds, he was one of those players who could play a combination of slot cornerback.
RED BANK CATHOLIC OBSERVATIONS
Although Frankie Williams Frankie Williams 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ didn’t have the day I was hoping he’d have against a tough team. The tape wasn’t as bad as certain media made it seem.
He was able to make some plays with his legs and pick up some key first downs. In addition, he was also able to extend plays to try and get the ball downfield
I use the word try because Fludd and Kinsler made Williams’s life miserable. Most of his dropbacks were pressured and a lot of his passing yards came off Emanuel Ross Emanuel Ross 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ run after catch, Red Banks’ best player by far.
Williams’s day wasn’t great statically but I also wouldn’t say he played horribly considering the circumstances.
