He's best as a 5-tech that will outmuscle most offensive tackles. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='437914' first='John' last='Baker'] IV - Cass Tech - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maybe a bit underrated, [player_tooltip player_id='437914' first='John' last='Baker'] IV is a tall lineman that is a major disruptor in all aspects. He'll be a major part of a defense that could win a State Title. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='80935' first='Tyler' last='Dosh'] - Davison - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I still have a very high impression of [player_tooltip player_id='80935' first='Tyler' last='Dosh']. Quick off the line, Tyler is a great DE/OLB/EDGE type that excels at pass rush. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='601044' first='Lamar' last='Fairfax Jr.'] - Belleville - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fairfax has demonstrated a lot of improvement over this offseason. He has a few killer pass rush moves, with the power to anchor himself and stop the run. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DL - [player_tooltip player_id='212359' first='Isaiah' last='Harris'] - Saline - Sophomore</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Great sophomore D-Linemen are hard to come by, but [player_tooltip player_id='212359' first='Isaiah' last='Harris'] has all the tools needed to earn All-State honors. I expect to see a lot of improvement from Isaiah heading into this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='187999' first='Jeremiah' last='Beasley'] - Belleville - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jeremiah is one of those guys that's an absolute game-wrecker. He's an outside linebacker who can go sideline-to-sideline, rush the passer, and more. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='80934' first='Carter' last='Herriman'] - Davison - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Carter is one of the most passionate linebackers I've seen. He plays with immense pride, leadership, and is able to stop the run between the tackles quite well. He'll once again be a major part of the Davison defense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='667462' first='Kari' last='Jackson'] - West Bloomfield - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is an ultra-aggressive linebacker who has really burst onto the scene as an upperclassman. He reads the fall extremely quickly and shoots at the ballcarrier like a missile. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='278012' first='DiMari' last='Malone'] - Dakota -</strong> <strong>JUNIOR</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>DiMari may be the best all-around LB on this list. He's an athlete who can stop the run as well as he can defend the pass. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB - [player_tooltip player_id='899598' first='Jack' last='Lower'] - Rochester - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A linebacker with nearly nobody talking about him, [player_tooltip player_id='899598' first='Jack' last='Lower'] is one of the best LBs in the state. Jack is one of the strongest players in general with a 545lb deadlift, a prolific wrestler, with great grades. Expect Jack to be at least all-region if not all-state this year!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='187993' first='James' last='Robinson'] - Belleville - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>James has been a staple of the Belleville secondary for a while now. As a P5 prospect, he'll have another amazing season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='187991' first='Jamir' last='Benjamin'] - West Bloomfield - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jamir is a dynamic athlete who can line up as a boundary DB, safety, nickel, slot, you name it. Put him on the opponent's best WR and he'll shut him down!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='253268' first='Desman' last='Stephens II'] - Clarkston - Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Desman is used in all three phases of the game for Clarkston. As a taller DB, Desman does a great job at using his size and length to his advantage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='600142' first='Derrick' last='Jackson III'] - Cass Tech - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With Graham transferring to IMG, I believe Derrick will have an even more phenomenal season than he did last year. Cass Tech will still have a no fly zone, and Derrick has a chance to be the leader of that group. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DB - [player_tooltip player_id='602426' first='Isaac' last='Poot'] - Rockford - Junior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Isaac is one of the best safeties in the state and will be the vocal leader for Rockford this season. I love his skills in man coverage, and he's shown a ton of flashes in deep zone as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
