The Class of 2025 already has a stable of talent holding FBS offers. However, that is far from all the top talent available in the Class. There is another wave of athletes in the Class of 2025 that I won’t be a bit surprised to see secure offers from the FBS level once their junior film starts rolling out. In hopes of getting the ball rolling, we are going to dive into each of these athletes and see what their previous tape already tells us about their game.
Oak Creek’s 6’6″ 250 lbs DT Kevin Wojciechowski Kevin Wojciechowski 6’5″ | 280 lbs | DL Oak Creek | 2025 State WI is my first choice when it comes to junior who could secure an FBS offer this season. I think one of the main reasons why he hasn’t yet is because of the fact that he just needs more film out there. Kevin has the imposing size, and there are examples of his strength, hand use, and range in the backfield/disruptiveness. However, he needs to prove that he can effect the game more often with consistent film this fall. If he can do that, I think we see his recruitment take off very quickly. Coaches, keep your eyes on the Oak Creek DL.
Dylan is another athlete that could see an increase in his recruitment, and offers, early in the season. I have mentioned before how much he has grown over the past year or so. Last time we saw him he was mauling DL in the run game at 280 lbs. He is now 6’4″ 300 lbs. If he can show the same burst out of his stance, transition that burst into power and movement in the trenches while run blocking Dylan will be well on his way to locking himself in as one of the top OL in the Class. He will need to continue to play with the same balance and body control that we saw last season too. I believe we are going to see impressive film early and often from the Verona OL. He has proven that he adapts to his growth spurts quickly. We should see more of the same starting Friday. In my eyes, Hildebrand is the top offensive player in the 2025 Class without a D1 offer.

The upcoming film for the massive 6’8″ 290+ lbs OL out of Kettle Moraine is going to be must see. Brayden has long had the size, and able to create a push correlated to such size. However, with such a big frame it takes time to grow into it for a lot of prospects. With another offseason under his belt, I look forward to seeing how much Thompson’s ovearll body control and flexibility has developed. You can never be good enough in those areas, and with the rare size that Brayden has having elite flexibility and body control is going to make him exponentially more talented and coveted by the next level. Flexibility equals the ability to win the leverage battle. Giving someone his size the leverage battle is unfair. Give that same athlete the balance to be able to stay in position to maintain that leverage without losing his man and you have a special prospect. I’ll be on the look out for that Week One film. College coaches should be as well.

It has to be just a matter of time for the 6’4″ 290 lbs OT out of Grafton HS. No question, Grafton is going to want to run the ball early and often in games. You can bet they are going to find a lot of success following Nellis’ blocks. The big man already demonstrated the strength, the consistent hand placement, and the athleticism to get up to level two and stick a block on an LB on varsity as a sophomore. The big man maintains his wide base and drives DL out of the trenches with violence. I’ll be most interested to see how he has developed as a pass blocker. If he can show the ability to slide and quickly react to edge rushers and land accurate punches, then he will have checked off a lot of what you want to see from a high caliber OL prospect. I’m excited to see James and this Grafton offense this season.
Trent is another prospect who I believe just needs more tape, and proof that he can take over a game at the HS level. This season should be his time to shine after a lot of the passing game went through Nollenn Tabaska in 2022. The 6’5″ 220+ lbs TE/WR prospect has the tools to win inline or out wide. He has serious speed for the position. On the track he is a hair from breaking 11 in the 100M, and it carries over to the field where he can take the top off the field or beat DBs as he crosses the field. Oiler is one of the very few prospects in the state who can create consistent separation from the DB with his pure size or with speed. A dangerous combination for defenses. East did what they could to get him the ball last season, including using his speed to run jet sweeps. Trent is a mismatch, and we are going to see him prove that starting this week. Big things ahead for him.

This prospect might see the biggest breakout of any athlete in the state this season. We have had our eyes on MJ since he was a freshman, and it is now his time to take over the helm at Catholic Memorial. We already know one thing about Mitchell. He is an exceptional athlete, and the most dangerous dual threat QB in the state. On the ground, MJ has the speed to turn lanes of green grass into six points, and he can leave the defense tackling air with his short area agility. Where he is going to prove himself, and breakout, is with his arm. MJ hasn’t been able to show that off in game scenarios, until now. We have gotten to see it at our Showcases a few times, though. People are going to like what they see. The ball naturally jumps out of his hand with velocity. His natural athleticism allows him to flip his hips and deliver accurate passes on the run, and he can place the ball consistently with accuracy from the pocket. I’m excited to watch him lead the talented Catholic Memorial offense onto the field this fall. Big things ahead for him.
