Prep Redzone Texas has recently updated the 2025 prospect rankings. In today's article, we are going to look at some quarterbacks to watch out for this upcoming season. Each signal caller has the potential to have a big season in 2023. We are going to shine a spotlight on some quarterbacks who are going to light it up this season. He is a dynamic scrambler outside of the pocket. The defense must account for his ability to scramble outside of the pocket and either throw the ball or run the ball. Hawkins throws an accurate football and is able to fit the ball into some tight windows. He is the type of quarterback that is not afraid to test the opposing defense with the deep ball. Hawkins has the potential to light things up this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='693110' first='Carter' last='Jones']-Lancaster-6'4” 185-Pounds   The Lancaster signal caller is excellent at throwing the football while on the run. He has a strong arm and will test opposing secondaries with the deep ball. Jones makes good decisions with the football, and he will not force the football into triple coverage. He is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field. He does a great job of using his legs to escape the pocket. Meanwhile, he keeps his eyes down the field in order to throw the football. Anderson has the arm strength to make the throw down the field. Anderson is a playmaker to watch at the quarterback position. He has the potential to have a strong 2023 season. He has tremendous accuracy and does an impressive job of throwing his wide receivers open. Schobel moves around in the pocket well and does not have any problem of knowing when to escape the pocket. Schobel can light up an opposing defense with his arm strength and accuracy. I look for Schobel to have a big season in 2023. He led Duncanville to an undefeated record and opened plenty of eyes in the process. Russell has a second gear when it comes to running the football that is rare from the quarterback position. He is a playmaker at the quarterback position and makes plays with his arm or his legs. Russell has the arm strength to slice up an opposing defense and he is a signal caller to watch out for this season.
