Anderson’s proficiency in passing is evident through his strong arm and pinpoint accuracy, a lethal combination that allows him to efficiently navigate and make any throw on the route tree. His excellent field vision adds another layer to his quarterbacking skills, enabling him to make split-second decisions and effectively distribute the ball to different receivers. What sets Anderson apart is his dynamic playing style. His capacity to throw accurately while on the move showcases a rare skill set, making him a threat even when pressured. Additionally, his athleticism as a runner adds a new dimension to his game, allowing him to extend plays and pick up crucial yards on the ground. In his most recent playoff win to clinch a third state title appearance, Anderson’s stellar performance further solidified his reputation. Completing 18 out of 23 passes for an impressive 313 yards and three passing touchdowns highlights his efficiency in the passing game. His contribution on the ground with 50 rushing yards and a touchdown emphasizes his well-rounded skill set.

Anderson has a quick trigger, he gets the football out his hand with a whip like release, he has a strong base when he sets up to throw and he has the arm talent to push the ball downfield and spray the route tree with elite accuracy. Sawyer navigates the pocket like a veteran, he keeps his focus on his targets despite the rush in front of him and his ability to put touch on his passes allows him to throw his targets open consistently.  Sawyer plays with a swagger, he has the athletic ability to use his feet to evade the rush and he is a threat in the run game using the read option to keep defenses guessing on how to stop the potent Parish Episcopal offensive attack. Anderson is a two year starter at Parish Episcopal and he helped lead them to a state title in 2022. Sawyer has that “It Factor”, that college programs seek out in signal callers at the next level and he has been a highly recruited player with over 20 plus offers from schools around the country. Expect Anderson to continue to wreck defensive game plans in 2023.
