Canyon is a solid jack of all trades. Like any other small-town football player, he plays all over the field. As QB he has 11 complections for 217 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, he has 61 carries for 210 yards averaging 3.4 yards per carry, and 5 rushing touchdowns. Not only that he has 5 receptions for 32 yards. His stats get more insane when you look at his defensive stats where last season he was one of the Bison's leaders with 97 tackles averaging 8.8 tackles a game. Along with his tackle stats, he also has caught 2 interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a caused fumble. Canyon will have to step up to new roles this season and he will be a huge part of the Bison's gameplan.
