Xavier Martin-Fuller, DB, 2024 – Xavier is very good football player with a lot of upside in 2024. He competes at the FS position and all special teams. You will notice he is very fast and athletic. He has twitch and quickness. His read steps are patient. He deciphers run/pass quickly and gets into his technique. On run plays he triggers fast downhill with inside out leverage. On pass plays he stays deeper than the deepest and reads the QB eye well and routes. He competes for the ball in the air and makes plays on it through the hands. He also plays a little slot corner and can run with anyone. He can press and stay in phase or back off and play zone with good head swivel. Sky is the limit for him.
Joey Wooten, RB/Ath, 2024 – Joey is a big back with speed and downhill tenacity. He runs behind his pads and delivers blows. He can be counted on to get the tough yards when needed. He is fast, athletic, and twitchy. He hits the gap hard and accelerates. On the second and third level has great separation ability. Impressive jump cutting ability with vision. He can score from anywhere on the field. Looking forward to seeing where he ends up in 2024.
Donovan Davis, OL/DL, 2024 – Donovan is a great football player with the entire IVY League after him but looks like he committed to Davidson. He carries a 3.8 GPA and is a leader. At DL he reminds me of Aaron Donald. He comes off the snap really fast and gets to lockout with a really powerful punch. He is very strong and rips off quickly. He hammers ball carriers in his gaps. He can run sideline to sideline on outside run. His pass rush is relentless and he dominates the Guards and Centers he faces. He isn’t afraid to make hard hits and makes his presence known at the QB. At OL he plays Guard and dominates there as well. He has great technique, a powerful punch and lift, and always keeps his feet moving through the whistle. Looking forward to seeing him play this season.

Elijah Brown, DB, 2024 – Elijah is fun to watch. He is not very big but is lightning fast. He has the athleticism and twitch to make an impact at the next level. He is patient in his reads. He has good backpedal and weave technique. He stays in phase on the deep routes and T Steps quickly back to the short routes. He is very good with the ball in the air and plays through the hands. He tackles well in space and sets a good edge to his side of the field. Keep an eye on his development.
Ernest Pierce, DE, 2024 – Ernest has next level speed and affects the game on both sides of the ball. He stands 6’1 and weighs 190 with room to grow. He comes off the snap like a missile and gets to lockout quickly. He sheds blocks with ease and maintains his gap. He runs down the LOS and chases plays down. He works over the top and can catch most offensive players. He plays with aggression and tackles really well. Impressive speed rush with a bend back to the QB. I really like Ernest and hope he gets a chance to play scholarship ball.
