Dodson has been an established name in this state since his freshman season and he has done nothing but get better and better, however this could be his best season yet. The #1 ranked wideout for the #TN2025 class, Dodson has nice size along with a frame to take on more weight as well as the athletic abilities to make plays anywhere on the field. What I like best about him right now is his route running and ability to find ways around defenders using his burst and quick feet. The Dragons junior pass catcher has already landed several Power Five, D1 offers but his stock should continue to grow over the next months as Dodson looks to have a breakout junior year.

This past off-season was a bit of a coming out party for this Mid-Tennessee wideout as Clifton landed multiple offers while also displaying in camps the ability to not only make it to the D1 level but develop into a possible P5 guy too. Sporting great size and a wide radius, Clifton has several physical traits that translate very well to the next level, so it’s all about this Nashville area product developing at the right rate to get there. This coming Fall, Clifton should step into the #1 receiver role for his Brentwood Academy team and will be given every opportunity to become a feared playmaker and boost his recruiting stock. Much is left to learn about Clifton but I can definitely see why college coaches are so attracted with this 6’2 pass catcher.

Big and physical with a wide radius, Jackson ranks 3rd among our receivers at the moment as someone with the traits and tools to have another big season this Fall and continue to take his recruiting stock to another level. Jackson put together one of the best productive season’s as a sophomore that we have seen in many years, which means he has big expectations to produce even more this season. The Knights wideout has the talents to do so, especially with his ability to take the catch, make his man miss and get down field quickly. He needs to continue developing his craft but the tools and upside are there for Jackson to continue being one of the top receiver prospects from his #TN2025 class.

Little was known about this Memphis area receiver going into the off-season but Butler is a big dude with length and a wide radius along with the ball skills that can translate well to the collegiate game. Sporting college size already, the Panthers junior pass catcher looks the part walking off the bus, so from a physical standpoint, Butler has tons of tools to work with and develop. What I like most about this 6’4 receiver right now is his ability to use his body to shield off defenders. He is a power forward style pass catcher that could become an excellent red zone threat. Butler is still coming into his body while still learning the game, so much is there to be developed but the natural tools and traits are there to become a highly recruited prospect.

Out of all the receivers within this list, Hubbard might have had the biggest breakout off-season campaign of all as this Mid-Tennessee product displayed outstanding athleticism and ball skills that now have him squarely on the radar of P5 and D1 college coaches. Perfect option for the slot, the Raptors rising junior was as consistent as anyone throughout off-season camps this year where he definitely took his stock to another level. Hubbard is a precision route runner with excellent feet and quickness. He also sports glue like hands along with the speed to work as a deep threat. More work inside the weight room and on the field must continue but Hubbard has begun to put himself on the map as possibly the top slot receiver prospect in the state.

Kimpel has yet to be placed into the spotlight nor have his breakout season but I feel that could be on its way after strong development this off-season, growing into his body further and showing the athletic skills that will attract collegiate coaches. The Raptors rising junior displayed excellent work this off-season by showing off nice footwork, clean routes and the ability to separate from defenders. Kimpel also appears to have grown into his body much more, which shows me potential to take on more size. A two sport star with basketball and football, Kimpel is a natural athlete that sports good upside for the gridiron as a potential outside receiver with tons of dependable qualities.

Game breaking abilities are the first thing you recognize when you watch Jones highlights and along with his quickness and speed, are the main reasons why this Mid-Tennessee receiver is ranked among our Top 100 prospects. This Marshall Co. product is a straight line blazer that can get on top of the defense quickly, providing his quarterback with a deep threat. Jones can also take a short pass and turn into a long gain, so he is a deep threat but can also work the intermediate routes as well. Much work needs to continue to happen inside the weight room as well as on the field, crafting his tools but the potential is there for Jones to be one of the best playmakers in the state from his position.

One of the top returning productive receivers in the state returning for this Fall season is this West Tennessee prospect who has excellent size along with outstanding hands that can be developed further inside the college game. Waller put together a monster sophomore campaign last year that put him on the map as one of the best at his position from the West TN region. He does need to keep increasing his speed and enhancing his agility but the ball skills are there as well as the concentration he shows among physical contact to make his way to the next level. Playing on the D2-Class A ranks, Waller will have every opportunity to put together another big season and keep boosting his stock while competing for Mr. Football.
