Let's face it: Physical traits matter when evaluating a prospect. I don't like it, but there are some size expectations for colleges, and especially the NFL. At the quarterback position, there are many elite QBs at 6'0 or under, though generally, taller QBs are favored in recruiting. This article will include five high-ceiling QBs at 6'2" or over!

You've got to love Cason's potential. He's a 6'3" QB who passed for 2403 yards and 34 touchdowns last season. In addition, he's ever-improving. The difference between his Freshman and Sophomore film is stark, and the improvement from his Sophomore film to what I've seen at camps is grand. He's improved in almost all aspects of his game, from his release to his footwork, and I expect continual improvement moving forward. He's showing that he can throw it to any part of the field with good accuracy. With his consistent development, I expect some Divison 2 offers to come next summer.

Sante is an extremely intriguing prospect as the potential successor to Brady Drogosh. I was able to watch Sante at the De La Salle college showcase last year and thought he threw the ball extremely well. He's a 6'2" Southpaw with all the fundamental prowess you'd expect from a De La Salle Quarterback. No matter if he's the starter moving forward, Sante is a quarterback with amazing potential. Although I don't know much about Sante, I think he could develop into a D1 prospect.

Aspen has had quite the high school career so far. As a freshman with a ton of hype surrounding him, he faded a tad and ended up transferring to Jackson. I was able to watch Aspen throw at the MHSAA Showcase in Jackson, and he really impressed me. First off, he passes the eye test as he's 6'2" and built well. He can really sling it, sometimes into tight windows. His accuracy is overall good, and his footwork is way above the average QB. I still believe the sky to be the limit for Aspen.

Two article mentions in one day for Brody? Well, that goes to show how pumped I am for him to debut as Cal's QB. He's a 6'2" QB with a whole lot of potential and hype surrounding him. You don't really know how someone will perform on Varsity until it happens, but everything I've seen from Brody gives me confidence. Brody will run the same offense as Mason did last season, and so far, he plays the same style of game.

Noah could be a sleeping giant in the class of 2025. Early on in his high school career, I wasn't overly impressed with his film, but he's started to win me over lately. Back in April, he tested very well at our Prep Redzone showcase. He also threw well and won MVP at a separate showcase in Houston a few months ago. Oury could potentially stand out as one of the OAA's best QBs!
