Smith had one of the best releases out of any receiver. Against Oceanside, Smith was tested with going against one of the stronger cornerbacks who was in press coverage. Smith was able to utilize multiple moves at the line of scrimmage and get separation from his cornerback very quickly. He was a terrific deep threat as he had breakaway speed when he ran streaks. His ball tracking ability was amazing and the connection between him and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='751818' first='William' last='Gambino'] was on point throughout the entire 7v7 session.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["773473"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The big tight end was dominant early on for the Hurricanes. He's every bit of 225 pounds and Brown moves quite well. He was an issue for defenses over the middle, as he came away with a ton of receptions. Brown has become noticeably much more consistent when it comes to catching the football. He was hauling in everything towards his direction and he was excellent in traffic. Despite multiple defenders always closing in on Brown, he was able to come away with a catch. He's become a better route runner and he's physically one of the most imposing tight ends on Long Island.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["648978"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"The all around athlete in the class of 2025 is an excellent player all over the field and he made a big impact both ways. I really think Schaffer has the ability to play linebacker or be a great player in the secondary. He was great in pass coverage, as he was able to watch the QB's eyes and close in on the receiver quickly and make a play on the ball. He was very fast in open space and he was coming away with a lot of stops for the Hurricanes. With how much more athletic he's gotten, I could see him being one of the best running backs in Suffolk County this season.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Heath Sumwalt","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"5'7u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Westhampton Beach","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"When everybody's worried about [player_tooltip player_id='773474' first='Kevin' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='773473' first='Jordyn' last='Brown'] and Michael LoRusso, it'll be the senior Heath Sumwalt showing that he's the real deal. He was one of the quickest players on the field for Westhampton and I loved watching him in the slot. Sumwalt has solid hands and is quick in space. Sumwalt is going to be a sneaky player this season and he'll be tough to keep up with in coverage. His change of direction was crisp and now I'm intrigued to see how he'll do when catching the ball in traffic.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64c307c176c7b"} /-->

It's safe to say he has the physical tools to be ready for the AAA competition he's facing this year. Standing at 6'3 and 210 pounds, he has the height and true size to take hits and make plays through contact. Granito was confident against stellar competition. His short and intermediate throws were fantastic, as he was moving the ball well for this offense. He had quickness on his throws and he was able to find his receivers in tight windows. He's in good shape to have a solid senior year and he has some talented receivers to work with.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["514952"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"I was beyond excited to see Dietrich in action and he was a problem for these secondaries. He was one of the best route running receivers during this 7v7. He had a smooth release and was always able to get into space, where his quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='604408' first='Tyler' last='Granito'] would fire a dart to him. With his athleticism, and how talented other receivers like [player_tooltip player_id='811333' first='Brendan' last='Park'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1075506' first='Peter' last='Braz'] are, you should see Chaminade throw the ball more and be less conservative offensively. Dietrich has a breakout season written all over him. This is the most talent Chaminade has had for a passing offense since their 2019 team that won the “AA” title.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Will Handley","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"2495","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Chaminade","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"It always seemed like Handly was in the right position to make plays for the Flyers. Hanley was deadly at safety and ended up being a ball hawk. The 2025 prospect has great size at 6'3 and 185 pounds and He came away with a big interception against St Anthony's. Handley read the play perfectly and he jumped the route to make the play. Handely was on an excellent JV team last year and I could see him teaming up with [player_tooltip player_id='735892' first='John' last='Marshall'] and forming a solid secondary in the AAA this upcoming season.
