Mr. Everything for Westhampton is one of the top 2025 prospects on Long Island. On offense he is a threat as both a running back or as a receiving option. On defense Schaffer is a hybrid player who can dominate at both linebacker and safety. And finally, he’ll be in the conversation as New York’s top kicker when its all said and done.

The all around athlete in the class of 2025 is an excellent player all over the field and he made a big impact both ways. I really think Schaffer has the ability to play linebacker or be a great player in the secondary. He was great in pass coverage, as he was able to watch the QB’s eyes and close in on the receiver quickly and make a play on the ball. He was very fast in open space and he was coming away with a lot of stops for the Hurricanes. With how much more athletic he’s gotten, I could see him being one of the best running backs in Suffolk County this season.

One of the best all around players on the island displayed all of his abilities on saturday. Schaffer caught everyone’s attention by making an argument as the top kicker on the day. He had incredible range and was easily one of the strongest kickers. He then continued to dominate at wide receiver as he made the 1v1’s look easy. Schaffer had an amazing rep when he had to come back to the ball and adjust his body to make an incredibly tough contested catch. He was elite at both receiver and DB/LB. He can play anywhere and he is one of the most fun players to watch on the island.

His change of direction helps him make guys miss on offense and as a defender, Schaffer is able to use that skillset to make blockers not reach him, to make plays at the catch point, and finish tackles. Schaffer has a ton of versatility and could play multiple positions at the next level, a really good overall player who impacts both sides of the ball with consistency.
