IOWA CITY, Iowa – We've reached July. A new high school football season is right around the corner. It will be here before we know it.

To help get us prepared, we're listing seven top players returning at each position in all seven classes. You can read about the positions we've covered at the links above.

We've reached the O-Line. Next up is Class A:

[player_tooltip player_id='573561' first='Grant' last='Brix'], '24, Logan-Magnolia - Arguably the top prospect in the state regardless of position, Brix (6-6, 280) reports scholarship offers from, among others, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State, Wisconsin, Oregon, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Nebraska, Iowa State and Iowa. The Hawkeyes reportedly told him they were set on the O-Line in '24. Me thinks they would take his verbal commitment in the heartbeat. Anyway, Brix and Iowa both will be fine. He's a well-rounded offensive lineman with versatility. And he has quite a way to go before hitting his ceiling. He is going to make some university very happy. Check out his junior highlight reel.

[player_tooltip player_id='125574' first='Cody' last='Fox'], '24, East Buchanan - The University of Iowa's first verbal commitment in the '24 recruiting cycle, Cox (6-4, 275) rose to a four-star prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings. He's the state's top-ranked player in the class, according to Prep Red Zone. His junior highlights are two and a half minutes of him dominating the competition. It doesn't look like a fair fight. He crushes opponents off of the line and also delivers punishment in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='320803' first='Jonah' last='Reiling'], '24, Lisbon - You're starting to see that the Super 7 for Class A O-Line doesn't take a back see to any other level heading into the season. Reiling (6-4, 285) verbally committed to North Dakota on July 1. He also reported offers from smaller programs and was firmly on the radar of bigger ones. Reiling's 11th-grade film shows us a lineman that buries people across from him on a regular basis. He's athletic and physical. He uses excellent technique, getting under the pads of opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='156621' first='Tate' last='White'], '24, Nashua Plainfield - White (6-2, 205) was named a second-team all-state offensive lineman by the IPSWA last year. His '22 highlights on that side of the ball feature a strong athlete playing at faster speed than most of his opponents. That, along with his strength, win him most reps. On defense, the film shows a very active linebacker also capable of succeeding with his hand in the dirt.

[player_tooltip player_id='1240421' first='Carter' last='Heidt'], '26, Maquoketa Valley - You wouldn't know you're watching a freshman when you view Heidt's Hudl video of '22. Part of it is his 6-3, 240-pound frame. The rest has to do with his play. Yes, it's a smaller class. But he's destroying dudes as a ninth-grader. That bears watching in the future. He's also intriguing on defense.

Eli Kuper, '24, AGWSR - Kuper does what you expect a 6-4, 315-pounder do in Class A football - push over teammates. You also can see good hands and mobility when watching his junior highlight package. He does a nice job winning the initial engagement and maintaining it until the block is finished. It will fun to see what he does this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1466829' first='Tyler' last='Sulsberger'], '25, Westwood - Sulsberger (6-6, 265) has my attention. He got it with a social media post of him competing at the University of Iowa camp. It's not much. And his Hudl page is absent of video. In the short clip, he shows off quick feet and hands in pass protection. That's usually a good sign this early on.
